Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is characterized by fat accumulation in the liver. MASLD encompasses both steatosis and MASH. Since MASH can lead to cirrhosis cancer, must be distinguished during patient treatment. Here, we investigate genomes, epigenomes, transcriptomes of patients identify signature gene set for more accurate tracking progression.
Rhus verniciflua is commonly known as a lacquer tree in Korea. The bark of R. has been used an immunostimulator traditional medicine, but also causes allergic dermatitis due to urushiol derivatives. For the development active natural resources with less toxicity, antibacterial activity various parts such bark, lignum, leaves and fruit, together chemical composition, were investigated. Among verniciflua, lignum showed most potent against fish pathogenic bacteria Edwardsiella tarda, Vibrio...
There is a constant need for the development of efficient vaccines and delivery systems to prevent control emerging re-emerging infectious diseases in aquaculture. are innumerable which has been difficult achieve. The failure mainly due inability design evoking appropriate immune responses. use nanoparticles provided tremendous opportunity vaccine that targeted delivery, providing stability antigens, act as adjuvants. Many able enter antigen presenting cells by different pathways induce...
ABSTRACT Miamiensis avidus (syn. Philasterides dicentrarchi ) leads to high mortality and economic losses in olive flounder ( Paralichthys olivaceus aquaculture. In this study, we developed a real‐time PCR assay targeting the cytochrome c oxidase subunit I cox1 gene of M . sensitively detect quantify parasite seawater. The showed strong linear correlation between log copy number standard plasmid Ct values R 2 = 0.9985), achieving an amplification efficiency 96.26%. was estimated at 6017 ±...
Abstract Two new cell cultures from flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus (Temminck & Schlegel), flounder fin (FFN) cells tissue and spleen (FSP) tissue, were established characterized. The multiplied well in Eagle's minimum essential medium, supplemented with 10% foetal bovine serum, have been subcultured more than 100 times, becoming continuous lines. Modal diploid chromosome number of FFN FSP was 64 62, respectively. Polymerase chain reaction products obtained primer sets microsatellite...
