The study aimed to evaluate the correlation between clinical disease activity of axial spondyloarthropathy (axSpA) and magnetic resonance imaging findings sacroiliac joint.
Abstract A 77-year-old man with newly diagnosed prostate adenocarcinoma a total - specific antigen level of 6.4 ng/mL and Gleason score 7 (4 + 3) was referred to 68 Ga–prostate-specific membrane antigen-11 (PSMA) PET/CT for initial staging. An intense focal PSMA uptake shown in the right peripheral zone gland consistent primary tumor. Additionally, demonstrated PSMA-avid soft tissue mass left cerebellopontine angle. The patient had history left-sided sensorineural hearing loss.
Pericatheter bleeding (PB) following tunneled hemodialysis catheter (THC) placement is a common phenomenon. In addition to complicating securement of the THC, PB may loosen adhesive dressing and delay wound healing. The primary aim this study was determine whether epinephrine-containing local anesthetics rather than plain ones reduce superficial after THC placement. The based on retrospective analysis prospectively gathered data. Forty-six patients receiving analgesia during were randomly...
Aim: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of ultrasound-guided percutaneous nephrostomy (PCN) placement in pregnancy. Method: Medical records 26 pregnant patients who were inserted with a total 27 PCN catheters between June 2020 to 2023 retrospectively analyzed assess imaging findings, procedural parameters, technical success, delivery outcomes, complications. Results: At time PCN, mean gestational age was 29.04±7.01 weeks (range 7 - 36 weeks). The indications for insertion catheter included:...
Abstract Aim This study aimed to assess the predictive role of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio, platelet-to-lymphocyte lymphocyte-to-monocyte and mean platelet volume, on catheter survival in chronic hemodialysis patients, analyzing both infectious non-infectious complications. Methods A retrospective analysis encompassed 1279 tunneled insertion procedures involving 902 patients between March 2014 October 2018. Patients were categorized into two main groups: (i) initial placement (ii)...

Background:
Recurrent monoarthritis (RM) causes serious disability in many rheumatic diseases. Local interventions, namely intra-articular synovial fluid aspiration (IAA) and corticosteroid injection (IAS) are frequently used to control single-joint involvement. Although medical (chemical or radiation) surgical (arthroscopic open) synovectomy options cases that cannot be controlled with local systemic treatments, it is gradually abandoned due both unfavorable long-term results...
Recurrent monoarthritis (RM) is a major challenge of many rheumatic diseases. Ablation well-known technique in the treatment benign or malign lesions different etiologies. We aimed to investigate success and safety microwave ablation (MWA) as an adjunctive therapy cohort medical treatment-resistant RM.
Objective: To evaluate demographic, laboratory, biopsy, and imaging variables as potential predictors of microbial identification in patients with suspected vertebral osteomyelitis, aiming to enhance diagnostic accuracy optimize patient care. Methods: This retrospective cohort study analyzed 83 who underwent image-guided percutaneous disc-space sampling between June 2020 December 2023. Inclusion criteria were adults aged ≥18 years imaging-based evidence osteomyelitis clinical suspicion...
Aim: This study aims to compare the diagnostic accuracy and complication rates of 20G 22G needles in transthoracic fine needle aspiration biopsy (TFNAB). Method: retrospective reviewed lung results from procedures performed between January 2018 March 2020. Patients included had non-diagnostic bronchoscopic biopsies or were deemed inappropriate for biopsy. A total 127 patients underwent Computed tomography (CT) guided TFNAB using either needles. Data on lesion size, localization, adequacy,...
