Using recent speckle measurements performed by different observers, in this paper we present revised orbital elements and dynamical masses for the binaries WDS 02396−1152 (FIN 312), 04515−3454 320), 06253+0130 343), 07003−2207 334 Aa,Ab), 08291−4756 315 08345−3236 335), 09173−6841 363 AB), 09442−2746 326), 12064−6543 367 12446−5717 65 13117−2633 305), 13320−6519 369), 14373−4608 318 16057−0617 384 16115+0943 354), 17221−7007 373), 17542+1108 381), 19035−6845 357), 21044−1951 328), 21158−5316...

ABSTRACT The study of a selected set 69 double-lined spectroscopic binaries (SB2) with well-defined visual and orbits was carried out. orbital parallax, the mass, colour, luminosity each component were derived from observational data for almost all these systems. We have also obtained an independent estimation masses by comparing colour–magnitude diagram (CMD) to stellar evolution tracks reported Pietrinferni. Nearly points on CMD are located between two slightly different mass or which fall...

ABSTRACT The Traspena meteorite fell on 2021 January 18 about 20 km south-east of the city Lugo (Galiza, Spain), shortly after a huge and bright fireball crossed sky for 4.84 s. Astrometric measurements obtained from cameras Universidade de Santiago Compostela (USC) as well many casual videos were used to determine atmospheric trajectory this meteoroid which penetrated atmosphere generated sound waves that detected at three seismic stations. original had diameter 1.15 m mass around 2620 kg....

We propose a methodology for analyzing triple stellar systems that include visual double star wherein one of the components is single- or double-lined spectroscopic binary. By using this methodology, we can calculate most probable values binary's inclination, angular separation between its components, and masses, even estimate spectral types. For few W UMa-type eclipsing binaries, radii are also determined. Moreover, present new formulae calculating masses depending on type. In way have...

New data obtained during the 2018 March–April speckle run at 4.1 m Southern Astrophysical Research (SOAR) telescope located Cerro Pachón (Chile) allowed us to recalculate orbits of following visual binaries: WDS 06478+0020 (STT 157), 07003−2207 (FIN 334Aa,Ab), 07013−0906 (A 671), 10174−5354 (CVN 16Aa,Ab), 12155−3106 (RST 1658), 12572+0818 380), 13044−1316 (HU 642), 14243−3838 1785), 16094−3103 (I 557), 17115−1630 169), 17119−0151 (LPM 629), 17563 + 0259 2189), 18464−2755 2073), and...

We analyze the outburst experienced by September $\varepsilon$-Perseid meteor shower on 9 2013. As a result of our monitoring atmospheric trajectory 60 multi-station events observed over Spain was obtained and accurate orbital data were derived from them. On basis these orbits, we have tried to determine likely parent body this meteoroid stream employing dissimilarity criteria. In addition, emission spectra produced two belonging also recorded. The analysis has provided information about...

Context. Two fundamental characteristics of binary systems are the masses their components and distance to Earth. In this way, dynamical parallax is an accurate very helpful tool. Nevertheless, there has been some concern with regard use a unique linear mass–luminosity relation (MLR) for entire main sequence (MS). Aims. This article describes computation both parallaxes individual visual binaries. The aim formulate model which would be suitable attending exact locations on MS in HR diagram....

First results of the optical speckle interferometry carried out with 3.5 m telescope Centro Astronómico Hispano-Alemán (CAHA, Almería, Spain) in 2005 July for visual binaries are presented. Fifty stars separations between 0058 and 21 were observed. Two new (COU 490 A 2257) six improved orbits along their systemic masses calculated. The obtained dynamical parallaxes conjunction overview spectral photometric data allowed us to make first rough distance estimates COU (145 pc) 2257 (210 pc)....

Results of our second observational run binary star interferometric measurements with an ICCD speckle camera attached to the 1.52 m telescope Observatorio Astronómico Nacional at Calar Alto (Almería, Spain) in 2000 June–July are presented. The measured angular separations range from 0096 6558. With use new data, orbits visual binaries WDS 14369+4813 and 21597+4908 improved.
