In this article, the authors first provide a practical yet rigorous definition of crowdsourcing that incorporates "crowds," outsourcing, and social web technologies. They then analyze 103 well-known sites using content analysis methods hermeneutic reading principle. Based on their analysis, they develop "taxonomic theory" by organizing empirical variants in nine distinct forms models. also discuss key issues directions, concentrating notion managerial control systems.

The recent Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use Technology (UTAUT) model developed by Venkatesh et al. (Venkatesh, al., 2003) as an integration the various technology acceptance use models is important in IS literature. However, UTAUT instrument has not been tested many different settings contexts yet. If scales for constructs are robust stable across settings, they most likely to effect interpretation research results. It is, therefore, essential assess whether these perceived same way...
This research seeks to validate a comprehensive model of quality in the context e-business systems. It also extends UTAUT with e-quality, trust, and satisfaction constructs. The proposed brings together extant on systems data quality, provides an important cluster antecedents eventual technology acceptance via constructs behavioral intention use actual system usage.
Abstract While offshore outsourcing is associated with several benefits, these ventures also pose many risks. In this paper, through an in-depth review, we develop a type 1 analysis theory about the various risks involved in projects, challenges faced by managers collaboration initiatives, and solutions that may aid overcoming those challenges. This paper contributes to both theoretical practice domains providing comprehensive offshoring framework.
Online markets for mental health care (OMMH) allow clients to connect remotely with counselors receive psychological therapy. Rooted in signaling theory and the specific context of an OMMH, we theorize relative credibility signals as boundary condition that determines whether demonstration signal responsiveness client questions substitutes or complements two description professional qualifications counseling style predicting market demand from new OMMH. Based on a panel dataset 823...
This paper conducts a two-period dynamic analysis of sourcing mode choices for e-commerce projects implemented by large firms during 1999-2002. We differentiate assets that are the focus decision in terms whether they growth or maturity stages. also consider hybrid governance mechanisms, such as minority equity arrangements, potential addition to conventional distinction between insourcing (i.e., hierarchical governance) and outsourcing market governance). <h3>BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE:</h3> Fluorine-18 florbetapir is a recently developed β-amyloid plaque positron-emission tomography imaging agent with high sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy in the detection of moderate-to-frequent cerebral cortical plaque. However, FDA has expressed concerns about consistency interpretation [18F] PET brain scans. We hypothesized that incorporating automated cerebral-to-whole-cerebellar standardized uptake value ratios into scan would reduce this...
This paper provides a state-of-the-art review about computational ontologies to raise awareness this research area in the IS discipline and explore areas where researchers can engage fruitful research. discusses basic foundations definitions pertaining field of ontologies. It reviews intersection with discipline. also methods guidelines for developing The concludes recommendations important emerging directions technical aspects are presented companion (Volume 14, article 9). comprehensive...

In this paper, we focus on the early-stage diffusion of codependent IT innovations, which are a type innovation in overall consists two complementary parts that adopted by different adopter communities but where both need to be jointly coadopter for successful innovation. Using diffusion, organizing vision (OV), and institutional entrepreneurship theories as key theoretical lenses, an in-depth case study reconstructed using 20 years discourse surrounding Walmart’s campaign early stage...

In this paper, we develop a model of information technology (IT) service provider capabilities termed the quality distinction (QD) that is theoretically rooted in resource-based view and management literatures, operationalized using widely used capability maturity (CMM) framework. The QD theorized to consist one dynamic (i.e., process adaptation capability) three operational life cycle, prevention quality, appraisal capabilities). These four are initially definitions 22 processes CMM...
