Pelvi-ureteric junction obstruction is a common urological entity presenting with hydronephrosis and pain. Most commonly the causative factor being calculus in upper ureter or at PUJ. Other causes strictures, idiopathic brosis less aberrant renal vessel. Vascular bar new terminology coined for this vascular entity. Here we present case of 36 year old woman who presented left PUJ obstruction, which was found to be due crossing pelvi ureteric junction.

Xanthogranulomatous inammation is a rare form of chronic which characterized histologically by the presence high number foamy histiocytes with lymphocytes and plasma cells. It can involve any organ, but most common sites are kidney gallbladder. Due to rarity this condition, we report case xanthogranulomatous appendicitis in 35-year-old lady, who presented acute pain abdomen, vomiting, fever operated as an appendicitis.
