Abstract A sulfonic acid functionalized tetraphenylethylene-based hypercrosslinked polymer (THP-SO3H) with a well-developed porous network and accessible sites was synthesized characterized by different analytical techniques. The catalytic prowess of the material THP-SO3H investigated in challenging dual C–C bond-breaking reaction for synthesis symmetrical triarylmethanes (TRAMs) high yield. scope developed metal-free method also explored wide variety substrates. organocatalyst can be easily...
Abstract The work presented here establishes the experimental findings of reaction between secondary/tertiary propargylic alcohol (PA) and 1,3,5‐trimethoxybenzene (TMB) in presence acetonitrile solvent (MeCN) based on theoretical calculations. When secondary PA reacts, goes via S N 2 pathway, where barrier is about 14.32 kcal/mol. On other hand, tertiary reacts with TMB 2′ 1′ corresponding barriers are 17.59 17.86 Other possible pathways, namely, 1, 1′, etc. for PA, 2, 1 pathways also...
Abstract Active cuprous oxide materials are synthesized from CuSO 4 .5H 2 O using sodium stannite as reducing agent in the presence of various stabilizers, viz., cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide, dodecyl sulphate, and polyvinyl pyrrolidone. The well characterized by powder X‐ray diffraction Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy to ascertain their identity, while field emission scanning electron microscopy energy‐dispersive analysis were used study morphology composition, respectively. We...
Abstract A facile method for the synthesis of 2,2‐disubstituted‐2 H ‐1‐benzopyrans from easily accessible tertiary propargylic alcohols and phenolic derivatives is described using a sulfonated tetraphenylethylene‐based hypercrosslinked polymer (THP‐SO 3 H) as heterogeneous organocatalyst. The organocatalyst can be recovered by filtration reused up to five consecutive cycles with nominal loss in catalytic efficiency. binding interaction synthesized benzopyrans human serum albumin was...
Abstract A simple protocol catalyzed by a Brønsted acid, trifluoromethanesulfonic acid (CF3SO3H), to synthesize conjugated diene-diones from easily accessible tertiary propargyl alcohols and 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds is described. Reactions are performed in an air atmosphere using undried solvents with water being the environmentally benign side product of process. Preliminary synthetic applications formation dieneones furans also reported herein.
