Abstract Those responsible for the development of sonosensitizers are faced with a dilemma between high sonosensitization efficacy and good biosecurity that limited sonodynamic therapy (SDT). Herein, inspired by intriguing therapeutic features SDT potential catalytic activity graphene quantum dots, N‐doped dots (N‐GQDs) to act as sonosensitizer is demonstrated. The superior effect N‐GQDs believed be three five times higher than traditional (such porphyrin, porphyrin Mn, Zn, TiO 2 , etc.)....
This article presents a method of geopolymerizing black cotton soil (BCS), type highly expansive soil, to ascertain its potential use in subgrades. The BCS is stabilized by alkalis calcium hydroxide [Ca(OH)2] or potassium (KOH), and cementitious geopolymers are produced. Parameters Atterberg limits, maximum dry density (MDD), optimum moisture content (OMC), unconfined compressive strength (UCS), swelling percentages measured. combination volcanic ash reduces the plasticity index greatly...
Electronic structures of zigzag edged graphene nanoribbons (ZGNRs) doped with boron (B) or nitrogen (N) atoms are investigated by spin polarized first-principles calculations. We find that ZGNRs can be tuned to either semiconducting, half-metallic, metallic controlling the distance impurity edges. A new scheme is identified achieve full half-metallicity in doping B atom at one edge and N other. origin due interaction between states B/N which results direct control over electron occupation...
Plasma acylcarnitine levels are elevated by physiological conditions such as fasting and exercise but also in states of insulin resistance obesity. To elucidate the contribution liver skeletal muscle to plasma acylcarnitines state during humans. In 2 independent studies, young healthy males were fasted overnight performed an acute bout investigate either biopsies arterial-to-venous differences over exercising resting leg (n = 9) or flux hepato-splanchnic bed 10).In state, a pronounced release...
Hydroxyapatite (HAP) is promising for the clinical treatment of bone defects because its excellent biocompatibility and osteo-conductivity.
Intraoperative-acquired pressure injuries (IAPIs) are a common complication in posterior intervertebral fusion surgery, leading to adverse outcomes for patients. However, there is lack of large-scale national database research analyzing the morbidity and associated risk factors IAPIs this surgical procedure. This retrospective study analyzed data from National Inpatient Sample (NIS) 2010 2019. Demographic, hospital, patient characteristics were examined, including length stay (LOS), total...
Wearable sweat analysis using microfluidics offers a non-invasive approach for real-time health monitoring, with applications in chronic disease management, athletic performance optimization, and early-stage condition detection. However, most existing wearable microfluidic devices are limited to single-mode operation either or on-demand sampling often lack precise control over sample volume, which compromises analytical accuracy utility. To address these limitations, we present novel device...
Elucidating the spatial dynamic and core gut microbiome related to wild bar-headed goose is of crucial importance for probiotics development that may meet demands artificial breeding industries accelerate domestication this species. However, microbial communities in geese remain totally unknown. Here, first time, we present a comprehensive survey by Illumina high-throughput sequencing technology using nine individuals from three distinct wintering locations Tibet. A total 236,676 sequences...
The dihydrogenation effects in the zigzag-edged graphene nanoribbons (ZGNRs) have been systematically investigated by first-principles calculations. Due to dihydrogenation, edges effectively turn so-called Klein edges, which results localized edge states (0,$\frac{2}{3}\ensuremath{\pi}$) and extended bulk ($\frac{2}{3}\ensuremath{\pi},\ensuremath{\pi}$). Compared with monohydrogenation, magnetic moment is substantially increased get much more delocalized, most attractive observation that...
Bar-headed goose (Anser indicus), a species endemic to Asia, has become one of the most popular in recent years for rare bird breeding industries several provinces China. There been no information on gut metagenome configuration both wild and artificially reared geese, even though importance microbiome vertebrate nutrient energy metabolism, immune homeostasis reproduction is widely acknowledged. In this study, metagenomic methods have used describe microbial community structure composition...
Abstract Hydrogels, known for their 3D polymer networks and high water content, are widely used in applications ranging from agriculture to tissue engineering soft electronics. However, balancing toughness stiffness hydrogels remains a significant challenge due the inverse relationship between these properties. In this study, dual‐network hydrogel is developed composed of lignin/poly( N , ‐dimethylacrylamide) (PDMA) sodium alginate/Ca 2 ⁺ (SA/Ca ⁺) using solvent exchange method. This...
Spectrum-energy correlations of peak energy with total prompt γ-ray emission energies, namely , and had been studied for long gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) previously by many authors. These were proposed to measure the universe classify GRBs as useful probes. However, most these relations built non-Swift bursts. The spectrum-energy short have not systematically established yet; in particular, how newly found GRB170817A matches is unknown date. We will first refresh three Swift/BAT Fermi/GBM build...
We have investigated the electronic and magnetic properties of Co- Fe-doped SnO2 by first-principles methods. The obtained results show that ferromagnetic order is energetically much favored relative to antiferromagnetic in all considered models SnO2. exchange interaction between Co ions a long-range gradually weakened as distance increases. For SnO2, also one, but it oscillates with variation distances Fe ions. In addition, we further probe concentration effect on doped systems. reduced,...
The polycrystalline CaBi 2 Nb O 9 ceramics with the addition of B 3 can realize a large d 33 20.4 pC N −1 and an ultra-high electrical resistivity 1.4 × 10 7 Ω cm (at 600 °C), while still retaining high T C 958 °C.
