Activated carbon prepared from lemon (Citrus limon) wood (ACL) and ACL/Fe3O4 magnetic nanocomposite were effectively used to remove the cationic dye of crystal violet (CV) aqueous solutions. The results showed that Fe3O4 nanoparticles successfully placed in structure ACL produced nanocomposites superior properties. It was found pH most effective parameter CV adsorption 9 gave maximum efficiency 93.5% 98.3% for ACL/Fe3O4, respectively. Dubinin–Radushkevich (D-R) Langmuir models selected...
The present study evaluated the replacement of beef fat in burgers using a tiger nut (Cyperus esculentus L.) oil emulsion, order to reduce total and saturated fatty acids studied samples. Three formulations were processed: Control-100% fat; 50% (TN50)-50% replaced emulsion 100% (TN100)-100% by emulsion. physicochemical parameters affected after replacement. Moreover, protein contents decreased those sample with thus formulation TN100 can be considered as "reduced content". Regarding color,...
