Abstract Detection of the IceCube-170922A neutrino coincident with flaring blazar TXS 0506+056, first and only ∼3 σ high-energy source association to date, offers a potential breakthrough in our understanding cosmic particles physics. We present comprehensive analysis 0506+056 during its state, using newly collected Swift , NuSTAR X-shooter data Fermi observations numerical models constrain blazar’s particle acceleration processes multimessenger (electromagnetic (EM) neutrino) emissions....
We report our discovery in Swift satellite data of a transient gamma-ray counterpart (3.2$\sigma$ confidence) to the fast radio burst FRB131104, first such any FRB. The has duration $T_{90} \gtrsim 100$s and fluence $S_\gamma\approx 4\times 10^{-6}$ erg cm$^{-2}$, increasing energy budget for this event by more than billion times; at nominal $z\approx 0.55$ redshift implied its dispersion measure, burst's output is $E_\gamma \approx 5\times 10^{51}$ erg. observed ratio FRB131104 consistent...
We present a targeted search for blazar flux-correlated high-energy ($\varepsilon_\nu > 1$ TeV) neutrinos from six bright northern blazars, using the public database of northern-hemisphere detected during "IC40" 40-string operations IceCube neutrino observatory (April 2008 to May 2009). Our blazars are subjects long-term monitoring campaigns by VERITAS TeV gamma-ray observatory. use publicly-available lightcurves identify periods excess and flaring emission. These predefined intervals serve...
The High Altitude Water Cherenkov (HAWC) and IceCube observatories, through the Astrophysical Multimessenger Observatory Network (AMON) framework, have developed a multimessenger joint search for extragalactic astrophysical sources. This analysis looks sources that emit both cosmic neutrinos gamma rays are produced in photo-hadronic or hadronic interactions. AMON system is running continuously, receiving sub-threshold data (i.e. not suited on its own to do searches) from HAWC IceCube,...
We present results of an archival coincidence analysis between Fermi LAT gamma-ray data and public neutrino from the IceCube observatory's 40-string (IC40) 59-string (IC59) observing runs. Our has potential to detect either a statistical excess + ($\nu$+$\gamma$) emitting transients or, alternatively, individual high gamma-multiplicity events, as might be produced by observed coinciding with LAT-detected burst. Dividing into three datasets hemisphere (IC40, IC59-North, IC59-South), we...
We analyze 7.3 years of ANTARES high-energy neutrino and Fermi LAT {\gamma}-ray data in search cosmic + ({\nu}+{\gamma}) transient sources or source populations. Our analysis has the potential to detect either individual {\nu}+{\gamma} (durations {\delta}t < 1000~s), if they exhibit sufficient multiplicity, a statistical excess transients lower multiplicities. Treating track cascade event types separately, we establish detection thresholds by Monte Carlo scrambling data, determine our...
We have developed a new scattering chamber for ion-beam analysis of environmental materials with the 1.1-MV Pelletron accelerator at Union College Ion-Beam Analysis Laboratory. The was constructed from ten-inch, Conflat, multi-port cross and includes three-axis target manipulator ladder assembly, an eight-inch turbo pump, Amptek X-ray detector, multiple charged particle detectors. Recent projects performed by our undergraduate research team include proton induced emission (PIXE) Rutherford...
We present results of the first four Swift satellite follow-up campaigns seeking to identify transient or variable X-ray UV/optical sources that might be associated with individual candidate high-energy cosmic muon neutrinos detected by IceCube Neutrino Observatory. Real-time public alerts providing coordinates and arrival times likely-cosmic have been provided IceCube, via Astrophysical Multimessenger Observatory Network, since April 2016. Subsequent observations (events 160731A, 161103A,...

The Astrophysical Multimessenger Observatory Network (AMON) receives subthreshold data from multiple observatories in order to look for coincidences. Combining more than two datasets at the same time is challenging because of range possible signals (time windows, energies, number events...). However, outlier detection methods can circumvent this issue by identifying any signal divergent background (e.g. scrambled data). We propose use these make a model independent combination neutrino and...
