The review considers problem of upper limit reference interval TSH that is discussed predominantly by endocrinologists out laboratory community. common values 0.4-4.0 mE/l combine as a matter fact two ranges: zone practically full wellbeing (0.4-2.5 mE/l) and latent pathology and/or high possibility development clinically significant hypothyroidism (2.5-4.0 mE/l). At one time, the proposal to diminish provoked many discussions on balance received no approval. However, unanimity concerning...

Monitoring of VFP and local brain interstitial fluid pressure was performed in 169 patients after removal hemispheric gliomas, basal subtentorial tumours. On the basis CT-data 97% had postoperative oedema various severity spreading. The location tumour determined both degree as well ISFP. Different mechanisms formation may be involved depending on localization tumour. Thus, we can propose a hypothesis development neurosurgical pathology.

The mean blood prolactin level in patients with microprolactinomas is usually 3000-4000 mU/l compared 10 000-20 000 cases presenting macroprolactinomas. It may be as high 1 mln and more a giant tumour. measurement of levels requires laboratory studies strongly diluted plasma samples. Significant dilution fraught erroneous levels: nevertheless, this approach allows tendency toward decreasing concentration to revealed which important for taking rapid decision concerning the choice treatment...
