Porous carbon supported Ru nanoclusters developed by a salt template-assisted strategy show excellent performances for multiple catalytic applications.
A new facile and scalable interfacial locking engineering strategy is exploited to endow reversible microcages with infinite chemical recyclability starting monomers, exceptional durability, high flame-retardant efficiency, extensive applicability across diverse polymers.
Heterostructure engineering has emerged as a promising approach for creating high-performance microwave absorption materials in various applications such advanced communications, portable devices, and military fields. However, achieving strong electromagnetic wave attenuation, good impedance matching, low density single heterostructure remains significant challenge. Herein, unique structural design strategy that employs hollow structure coupled with gradient hierarchical heterostructures to...
We examine the effect of mandatory environmental, social and governance (ESG) disclosure on firms' price discovery efficiency around world. Using data from 45 countries between 2000 2020 a difference-in-differences method, we find that ESG increases firm-level stock non-synchronicity timeliness discovery, suggesting more firm-specific information is incorporated into prices in timely manner. Mandatory improves with strong demands for firms poor incentives. also leads to other real market...
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a leading cause of severe illness in infants, with no effective treatment. Results phase 2 trial suggested that ziresovir may have efficacy the treatment infants hospitalized RSV infection.
Abstract Oriented aerogels, emerging as a new generation of lightweight electromagnetic interference (EMI) materials, often face complex synthesis processes. While creating an orderly oriented microstructure for EMI aerogels through ambient pressure drying (APD) shows promise, it remains significant challenge. Here, inspired by the directional grown structure plant, strategy that employs rapid precursor orientation followed slow cross‐linking to achieve APD is proposed. This approach...
Ultrathin 2D porous carbon-based materials offer numerous fascinating electrical, catalytic, and mechanical properties, which hold great promise in various applications. However, it remains a formidable challenge to fabricate these with tunable morphology composition by simple synthesis strategy. Here, facile one-step self-flowering method without purification harsh conditions is reported for large-scale fabrication of high-quality ultrathin (≈1.5 nm) N-doped carbon nanosheets (NPC) their...
Abstract To evaluate the current incidence of pulmonary hemorrhage and potential factors contributing to its increased risk after percutaneous CT-guided nodule biopsy summarize technical recommendations for treatment. In this observational study, patient data were collected from ten medical centers April 2021 2022. The was as follows: grade 0, 36.1% (214/593); 1, 36.8% (218/593); 2, 18.9% (112/593); 3, 3.5% (21/593); 4, 4.7% (28/593). High-grade (HGH) occurred in 27.2% (161/593) patients....
We study the impact of unexpected climate shocks on banks' individual and systemic risks.Employing risk measures developed using Billion-Dollar Weather Climate Disasters data from National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Dealscan syndicated lending data, we find that exposure acquired through cross-state increases risks. We also bank profitability helps offset some adverse effects risk.Banks reduce increase loan loss reserves after experience an shock. The loan-level analysis reveals...
Carbon nanopore and anchoring site-assisted general construction of encapsulated metal (Rh, Ru, Ir) nanoclusters was achieved. Rh/NHCSs can be utilized as an optimal catalyst for hydrogen evolution in pH-universal electrolytes natural seawater.
Abstract Efficient electrocatalysts capable of operating continuously at industrial ampere‐level current densities are crucial for large‐scale applications electrocatalytic water decomposition hydrogen production. However, long‐term overall splitting using a single electrocatalyst remains major challenge. Here, bimetallic polyphthalocyanine (FeCoPPc)‐anchored Ru nanoclusters, an innovative comprising the evolution reaction (HER) active and oxygen (OER) FeCoPPc, engineered efficient...
This paper examines the impact of analyst coverage on financial reporting quality firms as reflected by modified audit opinions (MAOs). Using a sample Chinese listed between 2003 and 2009, we find that coverage, which serves an external governance mechanism, helps to enhance firms. The effect is more pronounced for non‐state‐owned enterprises (i.e., private firms), in they are dependent equity capital and, therefore, under greater pressure from analysts provide high‐quality accounting...
