In this paper we explore the security challenges of IoT industry with focus on standardized communication protocols. We provide implementation details for levels mandated by Constrained Application Protocol and see how these reflect in Message Queuing Telemetry Transport protocol. Finally conclude our analysis emphasizing necessity anonymization decentralized authentication.
