Reducing Cu(OH)4(2-) with hydrazine hydrate and glucose in the presence of a structure-directing surfactant at room temperature gave Cu Cu2O nanotubes/nanorods, respectively, whereas facile hydrothermal treatment precursor resulted CuO nanotubes/nanorods.
