We prepared tea tree essential oil microcapsules, and the microcapsules pullulan were coated on kraft paper to prepare an antibacterial paper. The activity, structural characterization, thermal stability of packaging then tested. found that retention rate reached 87.1% after a 70 min high-temperature treatment. minimum inhibitory concentrations S. aureus E. coli 112 mg/mL 224 mg/mL, bacteriostatic zones 17.49 mm 22.75 mm, respectively. irregular. coating was formed via hydrogen bonding,...

This study aimed to determine the chemical composition of five Lavender essential oils (LEOs) using gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy technique and assess their antibacterial activity against four marine Vibrio species, including Shewanella algae, maridflavi, harveyi, alginolyticus. Sensitivity tests were performed disk diffusion serial dilution methods. The results showed that all LEOs exhibited tested species. activities above moderate sensitivity. from French blue, space eye-catching,...

Background Mango fruit is prone to decay after harvest and premature senescence, which significantly lowers its quality commercial value. Methods The mango ( Mangifera indica L.cv. Guixiang) was treated with 0 (control), 2, 5, 8 mM of reduced glutathione (GSH) harvest. stored at 25 ± 1 °C for 12 days observe the changes in antioxidant capacity postharvest quality. Results Compared control, 5 GSH treatment decreased weight loss by 44.0% 24.4%, total soluble solids content 25.1% 4.5%, sugar...

In this study, ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry was used to isolate and identify terpenoids in three types of pineapple fibers (pineapple leaf fiber, stem root fiber). The research results showed that the positive negative ion modes, 9 26 terpenoid compounds were identified from fibers, totaling 35 species 12 categories, among which triterpene saponins had largest number species. Pineapple fiber contains highest total content, followed by fiber. OPLS-DA...

Pineapple color yellowing and quality promotion gradually manifest as pineapple fruit ripening progresses. To understand the molecular mechanism underlying in pineapples during ripening, coupled with alterations quality, comprehensive metabolome transcriptome investigations were carried out. These conducted using pulp samples collected at three distinct stages of maturity: young (YF), mature (MF), fully (FMF). This study revealed a noteworthy increase levels total phenols flavones,...

The effect of five (hot-water, alkaline, ultrasonic, ethanol, and enzyme) pretreatment methods on the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in Ziziphus jujuba powder was studied by their separation via headspace solid-phase microextraction chromatography-mass spectrometry. Ninety-one VOCs, mainly composed esters, acids, alcohols, ketones, aldehydes, were identified. orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis displacement test combined with variable importance projection method...
