Opening the roof of interhemispheric microsurgical corridor to access various neurooncological or neurovascular lesions can be demanding because multiple bridging veins that drain into sinus with their highly variable, location-specific anatomy. The objective this study was propose a new classification system for these parasagittal veins, which are herein described as being arranged in 3 configurations 4 drainage routes.

This study is intended to obtain the algebraic growth dynamics of gracilis in fetuses and determine variations neurovascular pedicle(s) gracilis, aid infant surgeries. Forty (19 males 21 females) were included study. Gestational mean age was 22.40 ± 2.67 (range, 18-28) weeks. Numerical values obtained using a digital caliper image analysis software. Linear functions for surface area, width, anterior, posterior margin lengths calculated, respectively, as: y = -289.307 + 20.501 × (weeks),...

Informed consent is an integral part of daily anatomical practice. Providing adequate information regarding body donation process and emphasizing the importance use donated bodies in anatomy education will help individuals who consider donation. Current legislation that regulates Turkey does not provide details on process. Additionally, recent research showed registered Turkish donors have various opinions their bodies, sharing personal with departments medical students, retention time or...

Also these are divided subgroups. was difficult distinguish prominent tuberosity from Type IIIb AN as there no criterion in literature. Therefore, it aimed ensure morphometric data for medial extension AN. Material and Methods: In present study, radiographs 77 subjects were investigated terms presence types. Abstract Objective To identify the variations in position and distribution of nerves that may be at risk surgical approaches to hallux valgus (HV), reveal whether these are affected by anatomical changes associated with HV. Method In formalin fixed 46 lower extremities (19 female, 27 male), extensor hallucis longus tendon (EHL), deep plantar artery, medial dorsal cutaneous (MDCN), fibular (DFN), common digital (CPDN) proper (PPDN) were examined. The branches MDCN extending side foot recorded...

Objectives: To describe the morphological characteristics of subfascial intermuscular adipose tissue (IMATS) in anterior compartment leg, considering its developmental and functional relationship with crural fascia. Methods: In twenty formalin-fixed cadaveric legs (13 males, 7 females), after removal skin fascia, IMATS was exposed classified into four types according to shape. Leg length divided eight regions.
