In multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) multiuser detection theory, the QR decomposition of channel matrix H can be used to form back-cancellation detector. this paper, we propose an optimal decomposition, which call equal-diagonal or briefly QRS decomposition. We apply precoded successive-cancellation detection, where assume that both transmitter and receiver have perfect knowledge. show that, for any H, there exists a unitary precoder S, such HS=QR, nonzero diagonal entries upper...

In this paper, an exact asymptotic pairwise error probability (PEP) is derived for a half-duplex cooperative system employing amplify-and-forward (AF) protocol. When compared with the PEP of traditional multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system, "diversity gain" no longer just simple exponential function signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), rather, it involves logarithm SNR. The term diversity gain used to designate characteristic PEP. coding gain, on other hand, found similar that MIMO and...

In conventional multi-input multioutput (MIMO) visible light communication (VLC) techniques such as repetition coding (RC), spatial multiplexing (SMP), and modulation (SM), the transmitted symbols through different light-emitting diodes located space are usually generated from unipolar pulse amplitude constellations independently. this letter, we propose a novel constellation design for MIMO indoor VLC systems, in which two spaces collaborate so closely that average optical power is...

This paper presents a method for jointly designing the transmitter-receiver pair in block-by-block communication system that employs (intrablock) decision feedback detection. We provide closed-form expressions pairs simultaneously minimize arithmetic mean squared error (MSE) at point (assuming perfect feedback), geometric MSE, and bit rate of uniformly bit-loaded moderate-to-high signal-to-noise ratios. Separate apply "zero-forcing" "minimum MSE" (MMSE) structures. In MMSE case, proposed...

Particularly, the STBC Toeplitz structure satisfies criterion, therefore, enables diversity. Further examination of reveals following important properties: (1) symbol transmission rate can be made approach unity; (2) applying code any signalling...
