Individual ZnO nanowire transistors are fabricated, and their sensing properties investigated. The show a carrier density of 2300μm−1 mobility up to 6.4cm2∕Vs, which obtained from the ISD−VG curves. threshold voltage shifts in positive direction source-drain current decreases as ambient oxygen concentration increases. However, opposite occurs when under illumination. Surface adsorbates on nanowires affect both density. Our data helpful understanding mechanism gas sensors.
Synthesis of acrolein by catalytic gas-phase dehydration biomass-derivate glycerol was studied over various solid catalysts with a wide range acid–base properties. The catalyst acidity and basicity were measured, respectively, n-butylamine benzoic acid titration methods using Hammett indicators. most effective strength for the selective to form appeared between −8.2 ≤ H0 −3.0, which produced at selectivity 60–70 mol%. having very strong sites (H0 −8.2) effected lower (40–50 mol%) due more...
Electronic transport through individual ZnO nanowires has been investigated. The current increases linearly with the bias and conductance jumps upon ultraviolet illumination. increase rate illumination is much faster than decrease as light off. under vacuum slower that in air. These phenomena are related to surface oxygen species further confirmed by situ current–voltage measurements a function of pressure at room temperature. Also, greatly temperature raised. results demonstrate dominate...
Abstract This paper reports the synthesis of tetragonal zirconia nanowires using template method. An as‐prepared sample was characterized by scanning and transmission electron microscopy. It found that materials were with average diameters ca. 80 nm length over 10 μm. The Raman spectrum showed peaks at 120, 461, 629 cm –1 , which are attributed to E g B 1g phonon modes structure, respectively. UV‐vis absorption an peak 232.5 (5.33 eV in photon energy). Photoluminescence (PL) spectra a strong...
Catalytic gas-phase dehydration of glycerol to produce acrolein was investigated at 315 °C over ZrO2- and SiO2-supported 12-tungstophosphoric acid (H3PW12O40, HPW) catalysts with different treatment temperatures. Characterizations XRD Raman spectroscopy the prepared HPW/SiO2, HPW/ZrO2catalysts showed that nature support materials had a significant effect on thermal stability HPW; after 650 °C, Keggin structure HPW remained intact surface ZrO2 but completely destroyed SiO2. also higher...
Hydroxyapatites (HAPm-T) of varying molar Ca/P ratios m (1.58–1.69) and calcination temperatures T (360–700 °C) were prepared comprehensively characterized by nitrogen adsorption, TG, XPS, XRD, CO2-TPD, NH3-TPD employed to catalyze the gas-phase dehydration lactic acid (LA) produce acrylic (AA). While texture crystallinity HAPm-T sample affected little variation m, its surface acidity decreased but basicity increased with increase in m. The a higher showed lower area, acidity, basicity....
Biomass-derived furfural was efficiently converted to valuable cyclopentanone over interface-active Ru/carbon nanotubes (CNTs) catalyst in water. The effect of reaction conditions, including concentration, temperature, hydrogen pressure, speed stirring, and time on the catalytic performance Ru/CNTs has been studied detail. conversion 99% selectivity 91% were achieved at very low concentration (0.26 wt % Ru) under mild conditions (1 MPa H2, 160 °C, 500 rpm). Possible pathways transformation...
Semiconductor In2O3 nanowires embedded in an alumina template were fabricated using technology. Scanning electron microscopy and transmission observations show that the nanowire single crystal has average diameter around 80 nm a length over 10 μm. A strong photoluminescence (PL) emission with peak at 398 (3.12 eV photon energy) was detected upon excitation of 274 (4.53 305 (4.08 under room temperature. The observed UV PL is attributed to near band edge emission.
Abstract Gas‐phase dehydration of lactic acid (LA) to acrylic (AA) was investigated over alkali‐exchanged β zeolite (M x Na 1− β, M=Li + , K Rb or Cs ) different exchange degrees ( ). The reaction conducted under varying conditions understand the catalyst selectivity for AA production and trends byproduct formation. nature degree M were found be critical acid–base properties catalytic performance exchanged zeolite. =0.94 appeared best performing whereas Li Naβ poorest in terms yield. yield...
