An alkaline protease producer Bacillus sp. strain CA15 was isolated from soil. The microorganism found to be closely related cereus based on 16S ribosomal DNA sequencing. culture conditions for higher production were optimized with respect carbon and nitrogen sources, metal ions, pH temperature. Maximum obtained in the medium supplemented 1% skim milk, starch 0.6% MgSO 4 .7H 2 O, initial 8.0 at 35°C. best enzyme during stationary phase which cell density reached 1.8x108 cells/mL. level of...

The production of extracellular alkaline protease by producing Bacillus subtilis RSKK96 was studied with solid state fermentation (SSF). Different agro residues as substrate were for enzyme production. highest expressed lentil husk units per mass dry (3937.0 U/mg). Production parameters optimized incubation time 120 h, extraction medium Triton-X100 1%, initial moisture content 30%, pH 9.0. high level obtained in the containing arabinose followed lactose, galactose, and fructose. Abstract Production of alkaline α‐amylase employing our laboratory isolate, Bacillus sp., under solid state fermentation, was optimized. The effect wheat bran and lentil husk examined. Lentil exhibited the highest enzyme production. appropriate incubation time, inoculum size, moisture level, buffer solution level were determined. Maximum yields 216,000 172,800 U/g achieved by as substrates in 0.1 M carbonate/bicarbonate at pH 10.0 with 30% initial 24 h. Inoculum size found to be 20% 1:0.5...

In this study, the Taguchi experimental design was applied to optimize conditions for α-amylase production by Bacillus subtilis RSKK96, which purchased from Refik Saydam Hifzissihha Industry (RSHM). Four factors, namely, carbon source, nitrogen amino acid, and fermentation time, each at four levels, were selected, an orthogonal array layout of L16 (45) performed. The model equation obtained validated experimentally maximum casein (1%), corn meal glutamic acid (0.01%) concentrations with...

AbstractPistacia terebintus, a member of the family Anacardiaceae, is perennial plant that widely grows in southern and western regions Anatolia. Pistacia terebintus L. seeds contain 66% oil, which allows possibility economical exploitation. The main monounsaturated fatty acid oleic (55–75% w/w), polyunsaturated linoleic (15–38% while saturated palmitic (8–20% w/w). seed oil was investigated as an alternative feedstock for production biodiesel fuel. Three commonly used catalysts...

The bacterial strain Bacillus subtilis RSKK96 was shown to produce extracellular α-amylase. Enzyme synthesis occurred at 72 h with an optimum of 37°C. Eff ects various carbon, nitrogen, amino acid sources and chemicals on α-amylase production were examined. FeSO4, ZnSO4 CuSO4 inhibited growth as a result, amylase production. Maximum (858.6±41.9 U/ mg) obtained in medium containing 0.5% cotton stalk h.
