The study aimed at determining whether there exists a correlation between the cervical cohesion parameters assessed in elastography and length of cervix.Assessment with use real-time sonoelastography was performed on 59 patients 28 39 weeks gestation.The analysis showed that statistically significant (p=0.033) elasticity front labium (strain ratio A). In the past decades, we have observed a large increase in number of multifetal pregnancies, which is mainly associated with introduction assisted reproductive techniques. Even though neonatal intensive care very premature infants has improved significantly, risk mortality and long-term morbidity still much higher among these newborns.
