Driving fatigue is the cause of many traffic accidents and poses a serious threat to road safety. To address this issue, paper aims develop system for early detection driver fatigue. The leverages heart rate variability (HRV) features embedded machine learning estimate driver’s level. HRV derived from electrocardiogram (ECG) signals captured by wearable device analysis. Time- frequency-domain are then extracted used as input classifier. A dataset collected driving simulation experiment...
The importance of classification in machine learning is increasingly acknowledged contemporary research and applications, such as disease detection, user analysis, etc. However, the efficacy traditional algorithms frequently affected by challenges class imbalance processing large-scale dynamic data. To address these issues, inspired cost-sensitive strategy (Pinball loss) instance-level loss function (Focal loss), this study constructs functions expanding sparse robust Hinge Ramp loss. new...
The application of large language models (LLMs) has achieved remarkable success in various fields, but their effectiveness specialized domains like the Chinese insurance industry remains underexplored. complexity knowledge, encompassing terminology and diverse data types, poses significant challenges for both users. To address this, we introduce InsQABench, a benchmark dataset sector, structured into three categories: Insurance Commonsense Knowledge, Structured Database, Unstructured...
Abstract The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) is an under-construction multi-purpose neutrino experiment primarily aiming to determine the mass ordering and precisely measure oscillation parameters. JUNO detector consists of a Central Detector (CD), Water Cherenkov (WCD), Top Tracker (TT). target volume 20-kton ultrapure Liquid Scintillator (LS) purified by system combining alumina oxide filter, distillation, LS mixing, water extraction, gas stripping. Notably, extraction...
This paper focuses mainly on the vertex reconstruction of resonance particles with a relatively long lifetime such as K0S, Λ, well measurements using 3-dimensional fit. The kinematic constraints between production and decay vertices fitting algorithm based least squares method are both presented. Reconstruction efficiencies including experimental resolutions discussed. results systematic errors calculated Monte Carlo simulation.
A novel ceramic Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) has been developed to meet the demand of high counting rate for neutron detection which is an alternative 3He-based detector at China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS). An experiment was performed measure transmittance ceramic-GEM and FR4-GEM small angle scattering (SANS) instrument. The result showed higher less self-scattering especially cold neutrons. One single GEM could give a gain 102-104 in mixture gas Ar CO2 (90%:10%) its energy resolution...
Abstract The Taishan Antineutrino Observatory (TAO or JUNO-TAO) is a satellite experiment of the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino (JUNO). Located near reactor Nuclear Power Plant, TAO will measure antineutrino energy spectrum with an unprecedented resolution $$<2\%$$ < 2 % at 1 MeV. Energy calibration critical to achieve such high resolution....
The attenuation length measuring device was constructed by using oscilloscope and LabVIEW for signal acquisition processing. performance of the has been tested with a variety ways, test results show that set-up good stability high precision (sigma/mean reached 0.4 percent). Besides, accuracy measurement system will decrease about 17 percent if filter is used. gadolinium-loaded liquid scintillator (Gd-LS) measured as 15.10 plus or minus 0.35 m where Gd-LS heavily used in Daya Bay Neutrino...
A multilayered perceptrons' neural network technique has been applied in the particle identification at BESIII. The networks are trained each sub-detector level. NN output of sub-detectors can be sent to a sequential or constructed as PDFs for likelihood. Good muon-ID, electron-ID and hadron-ID obtained from by using simulated Monte Carlo samples.
A track fitting algorithm based on the Kalman filter method has been developed for BESIII of BEPCII. The effects multiple scattering and energy loss when charged particles go through detector, non-uniformity magnetic field (NUMF) wire sag, etc., have carefully handled. This works well performance satisfies physical requirements tested by simulation data.
Over the past decade, increasing availability of World Wide Web has held out possibility that efficiency scientific measurements could be enhanced in cases where experiments were being conducted at distant facilities. Examples early successes have included X-ray diffraction (XRD) experimental protein crystal structures synchrotrons and access to scanning electron microscopy (SEM) NMR facilities by users from institutions do not possess such advanced capabilities. Experimental control, visual...
The responses of different common alkali halide crystals to alpha-rays and gamma-rays are tested in this research. It is found that only CsI(Na) have significantly waveforms between alpha gamma scintillations, while others do not exhibit phenomena. rise time the fast light about 5 ns decay 17±12 ns. suggested arises from recombination free electrons with self-trapped holes host crystal CsI. Self-absorption limits emission CsI(Tl) NaI(Tl) crystals.
