Abstract We designed and prepared the imidazoline‐2‐thione containing OCl − probes, PIS NIS , which operate through specific reactions with that yield corresponding fluorescent imidazolium ions. Importantly, we demonstrated can be employed to image generation in macrophages a co‐culture system. have also two‐photon microscopy live cells tissues, indicating this probe could wide biological applications.
AIM:To verify that CD markers are available for detecting cancer stem cell populations and to evaluate their clinical significance in colon cancer. METHODS:Immunohistochemistry CD133, CD24 CD44 was performed on the tissue microarray of 523 colorectal adenocarcinomas.Medical records were reviewed clinicopathological analysis performed.

We reported a ratiometric two-photon fluorescent probe (SG1) for β-galactosidase (β-gal) and its application to quantitative detection of β-gal activity during cellular senescence in live cells aged tissues. This is characterized by significant excited fluorescence, marked blue-to-yellow emission color change response β-gal, easy loading, insensitivity pH reactive oxygen species (ROS), high photostability, low cytotoxicity. In addition, we show that SG1 labeling an effective tool...
A ratiometric two-photon fluorescent probe for quantitative imaging of mitochondrial pH values in live cells and tissues was reported.
We report a small-molecule two-photon fluorescent probe (ANa2) for Na(+) that shows strong TPEF enhancement in response to and can be easily loaded into live cells real time monitor the fluctuation of [Na]i living tissue at more than 100 μm depth.
A ratiometric two-photon fluorescent probe for quantitative detection of carboxylesterase activity in live cells and tissues was reported.
Lipid droplets (LDs) are lipid-abundant organelles found in most cell lines and primarily consist of neutral lipids. They serve as a repository various lipids associated with many cellular metabolic processes, including energy storage, membrane synthesis, protein homeostasis. LDs prominent variety diseases related to lipid regulation, obesity, fatty liver disease, diabetes, atherosclerosis. To monitor LD dynamics live samples, we developed highly selective two-photon fluorescent tracker for...
Mitochondria trafficking plays an essential role for supplying energy in the neuronal system. We report here a red emissive two-photon probe mitochondria (CMT-red) that showed high selectivity and robust staining ability mitochondria, photostability under microscopy imaging condition, low cytotoxicity. This can be easily loaded into live cells tissue used real-time, resolution of primary cortical neurons as well rat hippocampal tissue.
A two-photon fluorogenic probe with the untwisted intramolecular charge process which is comparable to commercial fluorophores has been successfully applied in observing hepatic steatosis.
The occurrence of cyanobacterial harmful algal blooms (cyanoHABs) is related to their physical and chemical environment. However, less known about associated microbial interactions processes. In this study, cyanoHABs were analyzed as a ecosystem, using 1 year 16S rRNA sequencing 70 metagenomes collected during the bloom season from Lake Okeechobee (Florida, USA). Biogeographical patterns observed in community composition function reflected ecological zones distinct parameters that resulted...
Lipid droplets (LDs) store energy and supply fatty acids cholesterol. LDs are a hallmark of chronic nonalcoholic liver disease (NAFLD). Recently, studies have focused on the role hepatic macrophages in NAFLD. Green fluorescent protein (GFP) is used for labeling characteristic targets bioimaging analysis. Cx3cr1-GFP mice widely studying such as NAFLD model. Here, we developed tool two-photon microscopic observation to study interactions between labeled with LD2 capsule GFP vivo. LD2,...

A Golgi-localizable two-photon fluorescent probe for 3D monitoring of Zn 2+ ions in live cells and rat brain tissues was reported.
We report a two-photon fluorescent probe for ratiometric imaging of cysteamine in situ. This can detect the levels endogenous with statistical significance live cells and brain hippocampal tissues, revealing that is localized mainly perikaria pyramidal neurons granule cells.
AIEE active HPB based TPE probe exhibited modulation of self-assembled architecture in presence H2S and was utilized for TPM imaging detection HeLa cells.
β-Galactosidase (β-gal), well known as a useful reporter enzyme, is potent biomarker for various diseases such colorectal and ovarian cancers. We have developed highly stable red-emissive ratiometric fluorescent probe (CCGal1) quantitatively monitoring the β-gal enzyme activity in live cells tissues. This showed fast emission color change (620–662 nm) response to selectively, which was accompanied by high reaction efficacy, cell-staining ability, outstanding stability with minimized...
Insulin-secreting beta cells together with glucagon-producing alpha play an essential role in maintaining the optimal blood glucose level body, so development of selective probes for imaging these cell types live islets is highly desired. Herein we report a 2-glucosamine-based two-photon fluorescent probe, TP-β, that suitable pancreatic from mice. Flow cytometry studies confirmed TP-β isolation primary cells. Moreover, TP-β-stained showed brightly stained islets. Insulin enzyme-linked...
The plasma membrane, which is a phosphoglyceride bilayer at the outer edge of cell, plays diverse and important roles in biological systems. Visualization membrane live samples for various applications functions. We developed an amphiphilic two-photon (TP) fluorescent probe (THQ-Mem) to selectively monitor samples. This exhibited red emission (620–700 nm), large TP absorption cross sections (δmax > 790 GM), high selectivity membrane. In cultured cells vivo hepatic tissue imaging, THQ-Mem...
