Abstract Several lignin‐based activated carbon fibers (ACFs) were prepared by initial synthesis of lignin–phenol–formaldehyde (LPF) resins with varied lignin contents, 8–20%, respectively, and then the melt spinning thermal treatments. Because guaiacyl groups reacted formaldehyde, role played becomes a dominator for controlling properties LPF resin pore size related ACFs. This was proven comparison scanning electron microscope photographs all FTIR spectra showed that ACFs structured...

Abstract An organic solvent soluble and high electrical conductivity, for example, 55.43 S/cm, polyaniline (PANI), was synthesized by a novel method. In this two steps process, noncovalent approach initially developed functionalization of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) using calcium lignosulfonate (LsCa) via self‐assembly to result MWNTs‐LsCa. Then, the MWNT‐LsCa employed as template lead anilinium monomers directly aligned on surface start polymerization PANI. The modification MWNTs...

Abstract Polyaniline (PANI) doped by three lignosulfonates (LGSs) with ions of sodium, calcium, and magnesium, respectively, was fabricated compared. Results showed that the conductivity, solubility, thermal stability all these LGSs‐doped PANIs were enhanced, especially LGS‐Ca‐doped PANI, when compared pure PANI. XRD, UV, FTIR spectra indicated PANI LGS‐Ca facilitated electron delocalization, which enhances crystallization PANI/LGS‐Ca respect to other two PANIs. The has best behavior due...

The important surface energy and acid-base properties for pine wood (Pinus silvestris L.) have been estimated by using two contact angle techniques (CAT), e.g., the sessile drop method Wilhelmy plate method, respectively. According to results, may be characterized as a low polymer due its energy. energy, γ s , was being larger in direction parallel grains compared with perpendicular direction. Lifshitz-van der Waals (LW) component, LW is major component AB . Furthermore, it seems that of...
