Oxadiazoles and their derivatives with thioether functionalities represent a new exciting class of physiologically active heterocyclic compounds. Several molecules these moieties play vital role in pharmaceuticals because diverse biological activities. This paper describes 1,3,4- oxadiazole-2-thioethers acetophenone, coumarin, N-phenyl acetamide residues (S-alkylation), the hope that addition various biologically will have synergistic effect on anticancer activity. The structure synthesized...

In the title compound, C(14)H(10)ClN(3)O(3)·H(2)O, benzohydrazide group is not planar and mol-ecule exists in a cis configuration with respect to methyl-idene unit. The dihedral angle between two substituted benzene rings 38.7 (3)°. crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked by O-H⋯O, O-H⋯N N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds into two-dimensional network parallel (100) plane. structure further stabilized weak C-H⋯O inter-actions.
