본 연구는 제주도내 장애인생활체육지도자의 직무역할을 어떻게 인지하고 수행하는지, 그 과정에서 제주도라는 지역적 특성이 미치는 영향에 대해 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구 참여자는 장애인체육회에 근무하고 있는 장애인생활체육지도자 총 7명으로 구성하였다. 이들을 대상으로 사전에 직무역할과 근무형태에 파악하기 위해 문헌조사를 통해 자료수집을 하였으며 참여자의 현장 경험을 도출하기 반구조화된 질문지를 작성하여 심층면담을 실시 참여 관찰을 장애인생활체육지도자들의 현장을 노트에 작성하였다. 면담 내용과 담은 노트를 참고하여 귀납적 내용분석법을 사용하여 개념과 맥락을 비교하고 범주화하여 분석하였다. 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애인생활체육지도자들은 역할로 2개의 핵심주제와 6개의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 다양한 참여기회 제공자로서 경험 제공, 개별화 체육수업을 통한 통합체육으로의 연계, 생활체육 참여를 시작으로 전문체육으로의 연계하는 역할을 언급하였으며, 움직임 자체의 의미...
