A questionaire survey of practice nurses was carried out in a health district. Sixty-three 86 responded. In choosing job general practice, were leaving the hierarchy hospital nursing and looking forward to more autonomy teamwork. However, latter aspiration did not seem be realized considerable proportion perceived poor support from their practitioner (GP) colleagues.
