In this study, the effects of salt stress on pigment and total soluble protein contents were investigated in different varieties tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.). The seedlings of L. esculentum viz. Hazera, Dalli Tokat Argy treated with NaCl at 25, 50, 100, 125, 150 200 mM concentrations for 96 24 h interval. Pigment all cultivars significantly decreased by depending time intervals concentrations. Decreasing more evident in Hazera under short exposure. content plants less affected...

The objectives of this study were to evaluate dry matter (DM) yield and seed six leafed semi-leafless pea (Pisum sativum L.) genotypes, compare them for these traits. Evaluation genotype x environment (G E) interaction, stability cluster analysis also carried out at eight diverse locations with typical Mediterranean Mediterranean-type climate during the 2001-2002 2002-2003 growing seasons. Significant differences found among genotypes DM on individual years combined over years, in all...

-1 ) on birds' foot trefoil yields and chemical features. Residual of some heavy metal (Cd, Pb, Cu Co) macro element (K, Ca, Na, S, C Mg,) concentrations were measured in soils plants. According to the results study, sewage sludge, when applied soil with increasing amounts, raised mineral matter content plant, which affected growth plant favorably. Consequently, it high herbage yield increased parallellism doses sludge. Heavy contents found under critical levels plant. So, sludge application...

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect nitrogen and plant density on some morphological agronomic characteristics grain sorghum in years 2001-2002. Experimental design a split-split, randomized complete block with three replications. Three levels (0, 75 150 kg ha-1) densities (70x10, 70x20 70x30 cm) were applied cultivars. Generally, had no height stalk length. yield per usually non-significant increased tended increase plant. Both have positively affected unit area. effects...

Karasu, zeytinyağı eldesi aşamasında ortaya çıkan, birçok toksik ve fenolik bileşikler içeren bir zeytin atığıdır. İçerdiği yağlar zararlı nedeniyle toprağa bulaştırılması tehlikelidir. Ancak, solucan gübresi prina gibi organik materyallerle birleştirilerek yararlı kompost gübreye dönüştürülebilir fayda sağlayabilir. Bu amaçla, araştırmada karasuya ilave edilen uygulamalarının nane kuzukulağı bitkilerinin bazı morfolojik özellikleri ile mineral madde içeriklerine etkisi incelenmiştir....
