Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) from plant origin were postulated to regulate complex hormonal control through the hypothalamus- pituitary-testicular axis and somatic cells due their unique small size effective drug delivery target tissues. This study therefore investigates biogenic synthesis of zinc (ZnO NPs) Moringa oleifera leaves on key endocrine hormones (LH, FSH testosterone), MDA level, antioxidant enzymes (SOD CAT), acetylcholineesterase (AChE) activity reactive nitrogen species...
Here in, we report electrodeposited Mn3O4 thin film doped with various level of Zn dopant (0≤x≤5.0,%), on a layer indium tin oxide (ITO) glass substrate. The deposition route involves the use two-electrode electrochemical cell system comprising graphite and substrate as counter working electrodes, respectively. Some surface properties such those morphological, crystal structure, optical, electrical were studied to evaluate films' potentials in energy conversion storage devices....
Pharmaceuticals as an increasing water contaminant pose major hazards to quality and human health. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) has shown promise in the treatment of many contaminants, although it could be improved. The adsorption capacity silver titanium dioxide nanoparticles doped calcined HAp (AgNPs-TiO2NPs@calcined HAp) for acetaminophen (ACT) Ibuprofen (IBP) was investigated this study. Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray...

Cadmium telluride (CdTe) is a direct band gap semiconductor for light-to-electricity conversion. The films are promising photovoltaic materials CdS/CdTe solar cells because of its energy 1.5 eV and higher absorption co-efficient (>104cm-1). This work presents the characterization 1 μm CdTe applications. were deposited on cleaned glass substrates using thermal evaporation. effect annealing temperatures (as deposited, 400°C 500°C) morphological, structural optical characteristics was...
Abstract Levels and potential toxicity of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) were analyzed in underground water from six locations near a fuel station Okinni, Osun State, Nigeria. Samples collected using standard procedures. A total number seven VOCs detected with varying concentrations, they were: benzene, toluene, chlorobenzene, ethylbenzene, m, p-xylene, o-xylene, dichloromethane. One-way ANOVA results showed significant difference ( p < 0.5) VOC concentrations across locations. Most...
