To reduce the draught force of a traditional planar potato digging shovel (DZ), biomimetic (YS), inspired by mole rat’s digits, is designed, using macroscopic surface modification method. The finite element simulations, soil bin experiments, and field experiments for DZ YS are conducted to explore factors affecting verify feasibility effectiveness shovel. Results show that soil–shovel interaction models predict well, but simulations rupture distance ratio need be further improved. studied...

Abstract Antlion ( Myrmeleon sagax ) larvae live in sandy soil and possess the ability to enter quickly. In this article, hierarchical structure of nonsmooth surface antlion was obtained using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Based on results, bionic model established investigate friction movement particles above it. Then relationship between drag reduction characteristics larvae's structural discussed, which would be helpful design soil‐engaging components. When height each is...

No tillage (NT) and spring ridge (SRT) are two common applications of conservation tillage. Although is known to exert major control over soil microbial respiration (SMR), the growing-season SMR response these remains elusive. In order better understand influence practices, this experiment was conducted in an experimental field using NT SRT for 17 years. situ measurements SMR, temperature water content (SWC) were performed. Soil samples collected analyze porosity, biomass (SMB) enzymatic...

YVO4 crystal has high laser output slope efficiency and damage threshold, good mechanical property chemical stability. We have measured the absorption of Tm:YVO4 crystal. The anisotropy effect is taken account. The optical intensity parameters are fitted out.And oscillator strength f,the radiative transition rate, the integral emission section Σ calculated. In wavelength range 350—2500nm,the itself rather small.However,Tm3+ ions in very strong luminescent ability. Especially, the 1D2→3F4 (about...

In this era of led-emitting-diode (LED) lighting, it is important to find a universal pattern structure for the LED automotive lamp optics. This paper starts with secondary light distribution design method rippling through explanation and simulation analysis its principle determines 4 '' round signal scheme good performance. It then completes proofing verification scheme, test results achieve original goal. Additionally, several examples other types are introduced, including halo 7 transit lamp.

In this paper, the absorption and fluorescent spectra of Nd3+: KGd(WO4)2 at room temperature were measured. According to Judd-Ofelt theory, intensity parameters &#937;&#955;(&#955;=2,4,6) worked out. With these values, oscillator strength, spontaneous radiative rate, branching ratio, integrated emission cross-section laser wavelength 1.06<i>&#956;m</i> calculated. The energy-level Nd3+ in KGW was given, possibility produce...

The insufficient accumulated temperature of the plow layer during spring tillage in Northeast China severely restricts soybean root growth and whole-plant development. High regional soil viscosity further complicates tilling-sowing. In order to seek a solution these problems, field comparative tests were conducted investigate effects shallow-loosening (SL) reshaping ridge (RR) on growth. Compared with conventional (CT), SL RR significantly increased temperatures within 0-25 cm (p < 0.05)...

The two cultivation patterns, no-tillage and ridge cultivation, are widely used in maize planting Northeast China. However, the seed bounce falling process drought seriously at seedling stage often occur to affect sowing quality, mean emergence time, percentage of emergence, root biomass, aboveground biomass shoot ratio maize, eventually reduces grain yield. To solve problems, a furrow liquid spraying device was designed thereby effects water volumes [0 L/m (V0), 0.6 (V1), 1.2 (V2) 1.8 (V3)]...
