Silicon (Si) anode has attracted broad attention because of its high theoretical specific capacity and low working potential. However, the severe volumetric changes Si particles during lithiation process cause expansion contraction electrodes, which induces a repeatedly repair solid electrolyte interphase, resulting in an excessive consuming rapid decay. Clearly known deformation stress changing at µε resolution Si-based electrode battery operation provides invaluable information for...
Precisely controlling enzyme conformation to enhance catalytic performance is a highly sought-after yet challenging goal in the immobilization of biocatalysts. Excessively strong enzyme-carrier interactions can restrict dynamics and reduce efficiency, while excessively weak may lead leakage, thereby reducing reusability. In this study, we developed novel strategy finely regulate interaction between carrier through adjustment ratio amino octadecyl functional groups. The expressed activity...
Abstract Constructing silicon (Si)‐based composite electrodes that possess high energy density, long cycle life, and fast charging capability simultaneously is critical for the development of performance lithium‐ion batteries mitigating range anxiety slow issues in new vehicles. Herein, a thick silicon/carbon electrode with vertically aligned channels thickness direction (VC‐SC) constructed by employing bubble formation method. Both experimental characterizations theoretical simulations...
In order to study the effect of negative valve overlap on combustion and emission characteristics a homogeneous charge compression ignition engine fueled with natural gas hydrogen, test simulation were conducted using an cycle model coupling chemical kinetic reaction mechanism under different timing conditions. Results show that internal EGR formed by could heat inlet mixtures improve spontaneous characteristic engine. The residual exhaust slow down release rate, decrease pressure rise rate...
In this study, a passive sub-ambient daytime radiative cooling (PSDRC) coating was introduced. Its optical properties, effect, and heat dissipation properties were investigated. Moreover, the heating rate energy efficiency (HEE) of PSDRC-coated electric oil heater highlighted. The extremely low solar absorption sufficiently high emissivity enabled it to exhibit prominent effect even when applied well-insulated structures. Except at midday, PSDRC showed better than 10-cm-thick polyurethane...
