Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria are known to enhance the growth and antioxidant activity of several plants. However, effects such on Geum aleppicum, a plant with pharmacological potential in Korea unknown. In this study, we investigated Pseudarthrobacter sp. NIBRBAC000502770 treatment (100 mL/pot, every two weeks for 55 days), form culture medium, 100-fold diluted culture, supernatant, pelleted cells resuspended water, growth, antibacterial flavonoid content G. aleppicum. The strain...

The objective of this study was to investigate the effect light quality on growth and contents photosynthetic pigments total flavonoids, parameters chlorophyll a fluorescence, antioxidant capacities, enzyme activities. It intended preliminarily explore internal mechanisms involved for physiology Carpesium triste Maxim. Stem apex explants were cultured Murashige Skoog (MS) medium under white (W), red (R), blue (B), or 1:1 mixture (RB) light-emitting diodes (LEDs) four weeks. RB induced sturdy...

The current study has determined the effect of red and blue lights on enhancement growth, antioxidant property, phytochemical contents, expression proteins in Scrophularia kakudensis . In vitro -grown shoot tip explants S. were cultured plant growth regulator-free Murashige Skoog (MS) medium under conventional cool white fluorescent lamp (control), light-emitting diodes (LED) light, or LED light. After 4 weeks, stomatal ultrastructure, total phenols flavonoids, activities enzymes, protein...

This research examined the effects of supplementary or night-interrupting (NI) blue (B) light supplied at a low intensity on flowering, gene expression, and morphogenesis chrysanthemum, qualitative short-day plant. White (W) light-emitting diodes (LEDs) were used to provide with photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD) 180 μmol·m−2·s−1 during photoperiod grow plants in plant factory. The control group was constructed that exposed 10-h short day (SD10) treatment without any light. B this for...

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect light quality on R.hongnoensis growth, physiology, and antioxidant properties. Five conditions were employed, including white (control), red (R), blue (B), combined LED R, green (G), B at 7:1:2 (RGB), as well G, B, far-red (Fr) 7:1:2:1 (RGBFr). R had greatest growth-promoting based plant height, leaf length, width, stem diameter, area. However, width root length exhibited growth under RGB. fresh dry weight shoots roots highest RGB light....

The rose is one the most commercially grown and costly ornamental plants because of its aesthetic beauty aroma. A large number pests attack buds, flowers, leaves, stem at every growing stage due to high sugar content. common pest on roses are aphids which considered be major cause for product loss. Aphid infestations lead changes in plants, such as irregular holes petals, intact leaves devouring tissues. It hypothesized that different cut cultivars would have levels sensitivity or resistance...
