Background: In the current scenario, synthesis of nanoparticles (NPs) using environmentally benign methods has gained significant attention due to their facile processes, cost-effectiveness, and eco-friendly nature. Methods: present study, copper oxide (CuO NPs) were synthesized aqueous extract Coelastrella terrestris algae as a reducing, stabilizing, capping agent. The CuO NPs characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR),...

The self-assembly of a dehydrophenylalanine containing dipeptide (see figure), yielding highly ordered nanotubular structures, is discussed. tubes are longer and thinner than previously reported peptide-based tubular structures; they stable to boiling-water temperatures, different pH conditions, nonspecific protease (Proteinase K). Abrin and agglutinin-I from the seeds of Abrus precatorius are type II ribosome-inactivating proteins that inhibit protein synthesis in eukaryotic cells. The two toxins share a high degree sequence similarity; however, is weaker its activity. We compared kinetics inhibition by abrin different cell lines found approximately 200-2000-fold higher concentration needed for same inhibition. Like abrin, also induced apoptosis cells triggering intrinsic mitochondrial pathway, although at...

Adenine deaminase (ADE) catalyzes the conversion of adenine to hypoxanthine and ammonia. The enzyme isolated from Escherichia coli using standard expression conditions was low for deamination (k(cat) = 2.0 s(-1); k(cat)/K(m) 2.5 × 10(3) M(-1) s(-1)). However, when iron sequestered with a metal chelator growth medium supplemented Mn(2+) prior induction, purified substantially more active k(cat) values 200 s(-1) 5 10(5) s(-1), respectively. apoenzyme prepared reconstituted Fe(2+), Zn(2+), or...

Abstract Adenine deaminase (ADE) from the amidohydrolase superfamily (AHS) of enzymes catalyzes conversion adenine to hypoxanthine and ammonia. Enzyme isolated Escherichia coli was largely inactive toward deamination adenine. Molecular weight determinations by mass spectrometry provided evidence that multiple histidine methionine residues were oxygenated. When iron sequestered with a metal chelator growth medium supplemented Mn 2+ before induction, post‐translational modifications...

The DG was synthesized standard ester coupling reaction and employed for production AgNPs. Digallate acted as very strong reducing stabilizing agent it reduced Ag ions in an aqueous media into (DG‐AgNPs) instantaneously temperature.
