This study presents a novel approach for the selective colorimetric sensing of Pb 2+ in aqueous solutions. Green-synthesized silver nanoparticles carboxymethyl cellulose matrix (AgNPs/CMC) were created using UV-irradiation technique. The successful formation AgNPs/CMC was thoroughly examined UV–vis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, diffraction, transmission electron microscope, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. AgNPs enhance detection through synergistic effect with CMC’s...
Summary The hydrogen storage properties of zinc ferrite spinel (ZnFe 2 O 4 ) alloy were studied, in this work. This alloy, formed applying the sol‐gel technique, was employed as anode Ni‐MH accumulators. X‐ray diffractogram analysis showed appearance compound with cubic structure. In fact, crystallite size, specified by TEM equal to 30 nm. examined various electromechanical methods (chronopotentiometry, cyclic voltammetry, and chronoamperometry) at C/10 rate room temperature. maximum...
Phosphogypsum (PG) is the main by-product of phosphoric acid, which produced by sulfuric acid attack phosphate rocks, wet process. This by-product, contains around 2.0% used as a low-cost soil fertilizer, PGF. PGF consists mainly gypsum (CaSO4·2H2O), P2O5, SiO2, and other impurities, including minor amount rare earth elements, REEs. In general, rocks contain from about 0.04 to 1.0% REE, are precipitated with PG. Now, REEs considered strategic elements. Therefore, PG now regarded secondary...
Raw rice husks (white particles) were used to produce silica through submission consecutive chemical treatment using NaOH and HCl solutions. The prepared was well incorporated with other components under hydrothermal conditions synthesize ZSM-5. Cr framework-substituted ZSM-5 constant Si/(Cr + Al) ratios have been synthesized hydrothermally characterized by physicochemical methods, e.g. X-ray diffraction (XRD), FT-IR, UV–vis spectroscopy N2 adsorption. FT-IR of Cr-substituted shows new bands...
This study deals with the removal of Mn(II) from aqueous solutions by Mg-Zn-Al LDH/montmorillonite nanocomposite. LDH adsorbent was prepared co-precipitation method and composite physical mixing MMT using high-shear action. The data revealed that maximum adsorption efficiency were 24.5, 26.4 28.9 mg/g at mass 0.25 g/L, pH 6.0, initial concentration 80 mg/L, stirring rate 160 rpm, contact time 75 min different temperatures 298, 308 318 K, respectively. Langmuir Freundlich models used to...
