The present paper reports the UV-assisted degradation of 1,4-benzoquinone in ZnO suspensions. variables studied include concentration 1,4-benzoquinone, photocatalyst, pH and total organic carbon. residue carbon were measured using UV-Visible spectrophotometer TOC analyzer, respectively. results showed that photodegradation was independent pH. photoactivity maximum at 1.0 g L-1 100 mg levels.
