Radiosurgery is a therapeutic modality for the treatment of small brain lesions. In this work, collimated beams 6 MV X rays circular shape with diameter sizes ranging from 3 to 52.5 mm were employed. The dosimetric functions studied tissue phantom ratio (TPR), off axis (OAR) and output factor (OF). methods used, which compared in terms those functions, film dosimetry, ionisation chamber, semiconductor diode dosemeters thermoluminescence. TPR measurements show good agreement. With respect...
Purpose: Due to the high dose per fraction in SBRT, conformity and fall-off are critical. In patients with cervical cancer, rapid is particularly important limit nearby rectum, small bowel, bladder. This study compares target volume for two radiation delivery techniques, fixed-field IMRT & VMAT, using non-coplanar beam geometries. Further comparisons made between 6 10MV photon energies. Methods: Eleven (n=11) were planned Pinnacle3 v9.10 a NovalisTx (HD120 MLC) machine model 10 MV photons....
