Fifty-one owner-dog pairs were observed in a modified version of M. D. S. Ainsworth's (1969) Strange Situation Test. The results demonstrate that adult dogs (Canis familiaris) show patterns attachment behavior toward the owner. Although there was considerable variability dogs' to humans, authors did not find any effect gender, age, living conditions, or breed on most behavioral variables. human-dog relationship described by means factor analysis 3-dimensional space: Anxiety, Acceptance, and...

In this paper we present evidence that simple problem solving in the dog is strongly influenced by relationship with owner. Twenty-eight dog-owner pairs were observed a novel situation and when performing problem-solving task. Dogs categorized according to their owners ("companionship" or "working relationship"). addition behavioral analysis of dogs, anthropomorphic attitudes assessed questionnaire. Factor showed two factors correlated variables ("social dependence," "social play") dogs...

Effects of oral administration methyltestosterone on sex reversal from female to male in carp (Cyprinus carpio) was evaluated using all-female gynogenetic carp. Methyltestosterone supplemented the diet at 100 μg/g for 36 d tested 20 and 25 °C varying times initiation treatment. The treatments induced partial more complete °C, respectively. At hermaphrodites appeared frequently. most successful occurred, particularly when administered starting 44 terminating 80 after hatching.Key words: carp,...

Long-read sequencing (LRS) techniques enable the identification of full-length RNA molecules in a single run eliminating need for additional assembly steps. LRS research has exposed unanticipated transcriptomic complexity various organisms, including viruses. Herpesviruses are known to produce range transcripts, either close or overlapping replication origins (Oris) and neighboring genes related transcription replication, which possess confirmed potential regulatory roles. In our research,...

Abstract Formulation of a general model evolution is presented which based upon the recognition "biosocial" entity, that biosphere and human society, as component‐system. It can be demonstrated interactions components (moleculas, cells, organisms, ecosystems in biological realms people, artifacts ideas societies) have replicative organization. We suggest an explanation for spontaneous emergence function organization, process called autogenesis. During autogenesis, hierarchical levels...

Abstract During an encounter with a conspecific male paradise fish memorize some features of their opponent. This is revealed by the shorter contest and significant changes in behaviour at second same Memory opponent lasts for one day but undetectable after week. In contrast memorization other species could easily be preserved several months. A possible explanation these different durations discussed relation to functions life fish.
