Two new endemic species of Bonamia Thours (Convolvulaceae) are described from the Brazilian Cerrado: austinii A.Moreira & Sim.-Bianch., and krapovickasii Sim.-Bianch. Both grow in Campo Limpo (savanna grassland with few scattered trees) have small tomentose leaves white flowers. They easily distinguished each other genus by their habit inflorescence. The taxa illustrated characteristics compared morphologically similar species.

Abstract— We describe and illustrate Paepalanthus fabianeae , a new species of Eriocaulaceae from the central portion Espinhaço Range in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Previous phylogenetic evidence based on analyses nuclear (ITS ETS) plastid ( trnL-trnF psba-trnH ) sequences revealed P. as belonging to strongly supported morphologically coherent clade containing five other species, all them microendemic, restricted range. Due infrageneric classification being highly artificial, we preferred not...
