Fusion excitation functions and angular distributions of evaporation residues (ERs) have been measured for $^{28}\mathrm{Si}+^{90,94}\mathrm{Zr}$ systems around the Coulomb barrier using recoil mass spectrometer, Heavy Ion Reaction Analyzer (HIRA). For both systems, experimental fusion cross sections are strongly enhanced compared to predictions one-dimensional penetration model (1-d BPM) below barrier. Coupled channels formalism has employed theoretically explain observed sub-barrier...
A family of four odd parity bands in 127Xe has been investigated via in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy and conclusive evidence for the first second phonon longitudinal wobbling excitations found. Spectroscopic measurements confirm predominant E2 character ΔI=1 transitions between bands. This provides experimental mode associated with a neutron configuration.
The lifetimes of the levels above spin $23/{2}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ in negative-parity yrast band $^{105}\mathrm{Cd}$ have been measured using Doppler shift attenuation method. obtained $B(E2)$ values are small and show a decrease with an increase spin. This establishes, for first time, antimagnetic rotation (AMR) odd-$A$ nucleus. An excellent agreement between theoretical (semiclassical model) experimental results along large ${\mathcal{I}}^{(2)}/B(E2)$ ratio states strongly suggests that...
Transverse wobbling was investigated in the $^{151}\mathrm{Eu}$ nucleus by populating excited states using $^{148}\mathrm{Nd}(^{7}\mathrm{Li}$, $4\mathrm{n})^{151}\mathrm{Eu}$ at a beam energy of 30 MeV. Three new interconnecting transitions have been placed between two negative parity bands. The M1/E2 character $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Delta}}I=1$ bands extracted from mixing ratios ${R}_{\mathrm{DCO}}$ and linear polarization method. spin different also assigned. dominant E2 interlinking yrast...
Abstract BACKGROUND: Assessing central and peripheral contrast sensitivity (CS) in myopic patients with varying degrees of refractive error using Spaeth/Richman test (SPARCS) compared it emmetropic individuals. MATERIALS AND METHODS: CS 50 consecutive individuals severity was matched emmetropes an online test, SPARCS, Pelli-Robson test. Group comparisons for continuously distributed data were made analysis variance (ANOVA) when comparing the groups. A post hoc also done to compare pairs each...
This work presents the preliminary fragment distributions produced through transfer-induced fission with a \(^{232}\)Th beam, which has been accelerated for first time at GANIL on \(^{12}\)C target. The experimental setup is described, as well newly implemented technique based Machine Learning aiming improving resolution. mass and charge of \(^{244}\)Cm \(^{234}\)U different excitation energies are shown to illustrate capability quality results. Abstract Published by Jagiellonian University...
Lifetimes of the excited states a pair positive-parity $\ensuremath{\Delta}I=2$ bands ${}^{107}$Cd have been measured by using Doppler-shift attenuation method. The obtained $B(E2)$ transition rates significantly decrease with increasing spin, behavior typical antimagnetic rotation (AMR). observed results, interpreted semiclassical model (SCM) calculations, confirm these to be AMR resulting from coupling high-$\ensuremath{\Omega}$ ${g}_{9/2}$ proton holes aligned...
Coronavirus disease pandemic has impacted global healthcare tremendously and ophthalmology is one of the high-hit specialties. An increasing number research items are upcoming with COVID-19-related in this report aims at performing a scientometric analysis all available pertaining to COVID-19 ophthalmology.A Web Science (https://webofknowledge.com) query TS = ("novel coronavirus 2019" OR "coronavirus "COVID 19" "nCOV" "SARS-CoV-2" "COVID-19") AND WC ("Ophthalmology") was deployed on February...
In the present paper, we report results from study of excited states in $^{72}\mathrm{Se}$ nucleus using $^{50}\mathrm{Cr}(^{28}\mathrm{Si}, \ensuremath{\alpha}2p)^{72}\mathrm{Se}$ fusion evaporation reaction at a beam energy 90 MeV. The deexciting $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ rays were detected Indian National Gamma Array (INGA). A total ten new $\ensuremath{\gamma}$-ray transitions have been identified $\ensuremath{\gamma}\text{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ coincidence technique....
The low-lying negative parity states in the 133Ba nucleus have been investigated using 124Sn(13C, 4nγ)133Ba reaction at Elab = 48 MeV. With addition of new γ-transitions, nω=0,1,2 wobbling bands were identified this nucleus. angular correlations and linear polarization measurements performed to confirm spin states. Predominant E2 character was obtained for inter-linking ΔI=1 transitions between successive phonon (Δnω=1) bands. transverse nature is concluded on basis observed decreasing...
High-spin states of $^{90}\mathrm{Zr}$ have been investigated using the heavy-ion fusion-evaporation reaction $^{82}\mathrm{Se}(^{13}\mathrm{C},5n)$ at a beam energy 60 MeV. Excited levels observed up to an excitation $\ensuremath{\approx}13$ MeV and spin $\ensuremath{\approx}20\ensuremath{\hbar}$ with addition thirty-two new $\ensuremath{\gamma}$-ray transitions proposed level scheme. Structures both positive- negative-parity highest interpreted shell-model calculations GWBXG interaction...
We report the first observation of high-spin states in nuclei vicinity "island inversion", populated via 18O+18O fusion reaction at an incident beam energy 34 MeV. The mechanism circumvents limitations non-equilibrated reactions used to populate these nuclei. Detailed spin-parity measurements difficult have been possible from observed coincidence anisotropy and linear polarization measurements. spectroscopy 33,34P 33S is presented detail along with results calculations within shell model framework.
Near yrast states in ${}^{89}$Zr were investigated up to high spin using the fusion evaporation reaction ${}^{80}$Se(${}^{13}$C, 4$n$) at an incident beam energy of 50 MeV. Excited levels have been observed $\ensuremath{\sim}$10 MeV excitation and $\ensuremath{\sim}$37/2$\ensuremath{\hbar}$ prompt gamma spectroscopy technique with Indian National Gamma Array (INGA). The angular distribution, directional correlation, polarization measurements carried out assign parity newly reported states....
Background: It is a well established fact that nuclear deformation and vibration influence fusion dynamics around the Coulomb barrier. This effect was observed for several systems with inclusion of inelastic excitations in coupled-channels calculations. Sub-barrier cross sections were also to be affected by neutron transfer carrying positive $Q$ value channels. However, recent experimental analysis few showed are enough explain sub-barrier behavior, no noticed due $Q$-value channels.Purpose:...
The use of benzalkonium chloride (BAC)-preserved medications is associated with ocular surface disease (OSD) that can negatively affect quality life (QoL) in glaucoma patients. This study aimed to compare QoL and correlate it OSD patients receiving BAC-preserved BAC-free travoprost.A total 110 subjects were divided into 3 groups: 40 primary open-angle (POAG) using travoprost, POAG 30 age-matched controls. All assessed a single interviewer-administered format the Ocular Surface Disease index...
