Solvent extraction experiments are carried out in a t-junction serpentine microchannel and split-and-recombine with TBP-nitric acid system. Stripping have been the microchannel. The effects of residence time O/A ratio on overall volumetric mass-transfer coefficients discussed. Flow patterns microchannels observed to more insight into experimental trends. For same average velocity, is found give higher coefficient. Overall for two compared reported conventional extractors.

The masses and radii of non-rotating rotating configurations pure hadronic stars mixed with self-interacting fermionic asymmetric dark matter are calculated within the two-fluid formalism stellar structure equations in general relativity. Equation State (EoS) nuclear is obtained from density dependent M3Y effective nucleon–nucleon interaction. We consider particle mass 1 GeV. An increase in the temperature of lakes and ponds facilitates over-growth photosynthetic cyanobacteria that produce a class toxins called cyanotoxins. The abundance poses significant threat to drinking irrigation water supplies, therefore, cyanotoxins have become major environmental pollutants. Microcystins, most common cyanotoxins, are cyclic peptides produced by through non-ribosomal peptide synthases, currently, approximately 279 microcystins been identified date. Exposure can cause liver...

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations of two-phase flow to predict dispersed phase hold up in a pulsed sieve-plate column have been performed and validated with reported experimental data. Suitability different drag models for predicting has evaluated. Drag applicable concentrated dispersions are found be better than the lean dispersions. Kumar–Hartland model is best among average error between predicted being about 15%. Parameters modified further reduce 10%.

We examine the thermodynamic properties of mass A∼200 nuclei utilizing angular momentum (J) gated nuclear level densities (NLDs) extracted in excitation energy range 2–15 MeV. Interestingly, experimental NLDs are good agreement with results a microscopic approach, which is derived based on exact pairing plus independent-particle model at finite temperature (EP+IPM), whereas conventional Hartree–Fock BCS (HFBCS) and Hartree–Fock–Bogoliubov combinatorial method (HFBC) fail to describe these...

We report the first observation of high-spin states in nuclei vicinity "island inversion", populated via 18O+18O fusion reaction at an incident beam energy 34 MeV. The mechanism circumvents limitations non-equilibrated reactions used to populate these nuclei. Detailed spin-parity measurements difficult have been possible from observed coincidence anisotropy and linear polarization measurements. spectroscopy 33,34P 33S is presented detail along with results calculations within shell model framework.
