We have previously demonstrated that GATA-2 and GATA-3 are expressed in adipocyte precursors control the preadipocyte-to-adipocyte transition. Constitutive expression of both suppressed differentiation, partially through direct binding to peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) promoter suppression its basal activity. In present study, we demonstrate form protein complexes with CCAAT/enhancer α (C/EBPα) C/EBPβ, members a family transcription factors integral adipogenesis. mapped...

Polarization and related properties in the M‐type lead hexaferrite ( PbFe 12 O 19 ) are reported for first time. The remnant polarization of exhibits a maximum value 104 μC/cm 2 , as well large spontaneous at room temperature. Annealing oxygen plays key role saturation its hysteresis loop because it greatly enhances ceramic's electric resistance. Two current peaks I–V curve reveal switch, providing effective evidence ferroelectricity . Its temperature‐dependent dielectric constant undergoes...

The interband optical properties of crystalline (quartz) and amorphous ${\mathrm{SiO}}_{2}$ in the vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) region have been investigated using combined spectroscopic ellipsometry VUV spectroscopy. Over range 1.5--42 eV exhibit similar exciton transitions, with exhibiting larger transition strengths index refraction. Crystalline has more sharp features strength spectrum than ${\mathrm{SiO}}_{2}$, energy absorption edge for is about 1 higher that direct band-gap energies...

Selenium is an important element for human's health, small size very helpful Se nanoparticles to be absorbed by body. Here, we present a facile approach fabrication of selenium (Nano-Se) as well nanorods dissolving sodium selenite (Na2SeO3) in glycerin and using glucose the reduction agent. The as-prepared have been characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy high resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM). morphology demonstrated TEM images. Precise and accurate knowledge of the optical properties amorphous silica is important because increasing application SiO 2 in electrooptical devices, including photolithography masks for semiconductor fabrication, recently as a potential 157 nm mask substrate. The vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) region have been investigated, they convey detailed information on electronic structure interatomic bonding material. In this work, we combined spectroscopic ellipsometry VUV spectroscopy to directly...

Nanocrystalline PbTiO 3 (PTO) powders in a perovskite structure have been synthesized by the sol–gel process using lead acetate, glycerin, and titanium (IV) isopropoxide as precursors. PTO ceramics were obtained sintering at temperatures ranging from 600° to 1000°C. The morphology of determined X‐ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, field emission scanning microscopy. powder calcined 450°C shows weak ferromagnetism room temperature. sintered various exhibit coexistence...

A new class of ratiometric fluorescence sensors composed rare-earth (RE) compound nanotubes is described. Polyethylenimine-coated yttrium hydroxide fluoride (YHF NTs) that were synthesized hydrothermally exhibit highly efficient when doped with RE ions. The polyethylenimine on the NTs facilitates incorporation phosphors such as quantum dots or organic dyes onto NT surface to produce dual-emitting nanocomposites which are excellent sensors. phosphor layer and underlying tubes in act indicator...
