Hypertension during pregnancy can cause serious problems delivery, such as stroke, premature or low birthweight. Nulliparity is believed to be a risk factor for hypertension pregnancy. However, the relationship between parity and blood pressure determined at home still unknown. We assessed incidence of gestational preeclampsia in 575 nulliparous multiparous women. Also, we examined measured clinic among 530 normotensive pregnant women who received antenatal care maternity hospital Japan....

Abstract Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) are associated with poor maternal and neonatal prognoses. Although several studies have indicated an effect secondhand smoke (SHS) exposure on HDP, such evidence is lacking in Japan. Therefore, we analyzed data from the Japan Environment Children’s Study, a large-scale epidemiological investigation, to elucidate possible link between SHS HDP risk. Data were obtained all-birth fixed datasets included information 104,062 fetuses their parents....

A single-layer linear-to-circular polarisation converter is proposed for an application to a slotted waveguide planar array. It consists of dipoles which closely couple slot arrays. The method moments clarifies the mutual coupling between and slots on waveguide. Numerical results promise use uniform parallel dipole array as existing linearly polarised measurements using in 22.0 GHz band confirm prediction; axial ratio less than 1 dB negligible insertion loss realised.

A matching slot pair which radiates all the incident power in a circularly-polarised wave is proposed and analysed for use as terminal leaky-wave slotted waveguide array. The position size of slots are numerically optimised to suppress reflection realise desired polarisation tilted beam direction, contributes improving antenna efficiency. It verified experimentally that return loss below –15 dB over 0.1 GHz at 4 band 3 axial ratio bandwidth about 5% direction.
