Efficient representations of drugs provide important support for healthcare analytics, such as drug–drug interaction (DDI) prediction and similarity (DDS) computation. However, incomplete annotated data drug feature sparseness create substantial barriers representation learning, making it difficult to accurately identify new properties prior public release. To alleviate these deficiencies, we propose KMR, a knowledge-oriented feature-driven method which can learn related knowledge with an...

SUMMARY An isotopic exchange method was used to characterize quantitatively the fixation and plant availability of phosphate previously sorbed by soils. In general, exchangeability much higher than its desorbability for both soils clay minerals. Isotopic increased with sorption saturation during initial stage (15–60% saturation), but increase less increasing from 60–90% all tested. Therefore a 60% recommended as upper limit P fertilization in terms economical efficiency. For minerals,...

Proper representations of drugs have broad applications in healthcare analytics, such as drug-drug interaction (DDI) prediction and similarity (DDS) computation. However, drug application involves accurate representation rich annotated data, requiring tremendous expert time effort. Thereby, feature sparseness creates a substantial barrier for learning, making it difficult to accurately identify new properties prior public release. To alleviate these deficiencies, we propose knowledge-aware...

A prototype system of Named Data Networking (NDN) wireless communication for Android is established based on NDN Forwarding Daemon (NFD). By porting to Raspberry Pi and smartphone, the NDN-based application can connect an NDN-supported access point built Pi, communicate with remote Testbed. As a contribution, this paper make preliminary exploration deploying terminals interfacing smartphones multiple networks, which various forwarding strategies be tested.

Abstract Practice enhances olfactory performance. However, laboratory studies to date suggest that learning is largely restricted the trained odors, posing a significant challenge for training-based rehabilitation therapies loss. In this study, we introduce various types of odors discrimination training, conducted unilaterally. We demonstrate contrasting patterns specificity and transfer learning, independent adaptation task difficulty. Individuals with odor mixtures different ratios show...

Abstract A transmission line ice thickness real-time simulation and online monitoring system were designed by using the coplanar multi-point capacitance sensor technology. The sensing type is used in to detect metal electrode change on various positions surrounding analog line, verify line. By theoretical analysis of a plurality fields capacitors, as well freezing test low temperature, validated have feasibility lines.

We present MedSim, a novel semantic SIMilarity method based on public well-established bio-MEDical knowledge graphs (KGs) and large-scale corpus, to study the therapeutic substitution of antibiotics. Besides hierarchy corpus KGs, MedSim further interprets medicine characteristics by constructing multi-dimensional medicine-specific feature vectors. Dataset 528 antibiotic pairs scored doctors is applied for evaluation has produced statistically significant improvement over other similarity...

Ontology can be used for the interpretation of natural language. To construct an anti-infective drug ontology, one needs to design and deploy a methodological step carry out entity discovery linking. Medical synonym resources have been important part medical language processing (NLP). However, there are problems such as low precision recall rate. In this study, NLP approach is adopted generate candidate entities. Open ontology analyzed extract semantic relations. Six-word vector features...

Abstract There is an increasing recognition of neurological manifestations from SARS-CoV-2 infection. Quantifications such and their long-term dynamics in the general infected population are essence understanding health socioeconomic burden complications COVID-19. Through rigorous empirical testing over 800 volunteers, we present here repeated cross-sectional longitudinal data that depict trajectories chemosensory functions, cognitive performances depressive symptoms up to 1.5 years after...
