Lichens are complex symbiotic association of mycobionts, photobionts, and bacteriobionts, including chemolithotropic bacteria. In the present study, 46 lichenized bacteria were isolated by conventional enrichment culture methods on nitrogen‐free bromothymol blue (NFb) medium. Only 11 isolates fixed nitrogen NFb had reduced acetylene. All these also produced siderophore 10 them IAA. Further, ammonia production was recorded from nine fixers (NF). On molecular characterization, 16 S rRNA...

Abstract Background Celiac disease is an intestinal chronic disorder with multifactorial etiology resulting in small mucosal injuries and malabsorption. In genetically predisposed individuals HLA DQ2/DQ8 molecules, the gluten domains rich glutamine proline present to reactive CD4 + T cells causing injury intestine. experimental design, indigenous bacteria from wheat samples were studied for their hydrolyzing functionality. Results Proteolytic activity of Bacillus spp . was confirmed...

Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are used as alternatives to the chemical fertilizers increase crop yield in agriculture. The present study was undertaken isolate, screen and evaluate selected promising PGPR isolates from maize fields. Out of 30 bacterial isolates, four most (SP-01 SP-04) have analysed for various PGP traits. Bacterial isolate SP-03 showed maximum traits like N2 fixation, IAA production, ammonia production siderophore in-vitro condition. To identify morphological...

Background: Agro-industrial wastes from the citrus juice processing industry are of main concern. The presence volatile oils and phenolic compounds in orange sweet lime peels exhibited various biological activities. Aim: Comparative evaluation peel extracts against urinary tract infection causing bacteria their antioxidant potential. Methods: Mature were purchased local market. Peel samples dried powdered, alcoholic hydro-alcoholic prepared. Samples analyzed for total content flavonoid...

Soil contamination by chemicals is a severe environmental problem that harms ecosystem health and agricultural output. Chemically-damaged soils must be restored to produce food sustainable land usage. One potential strategy applying Plant Growth-Promoting Bacteria (PGPB) improve soil fertility plant development. This article examines the research on using PGPB restore in chemically-polluted regions, including its methods of action, effectiveness, prospective uses for long-term management.
