Abstract This study aims to quantify meteorological–hydrological drought propagations and examine the potential impacts by climatic variability, LULC change (LULC), human regulations. An integrated observation-modeling framework quantifies propagation intervals assesses mechanisms influencing hydrological droughts. Meteorological droughts are characterized using Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI), assessed through Streamflow (SSI) across diverse zones....

Abstract Melt blending of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and poly(epichlorohydrin‐ co ‐ethylene oxide) copolymers (ECO) was performed to improve the toughness crystallization PLA. Thermal scanning electron microscopy analysis indicated that PLA ECO were not thermodynamically miscible but compatible some extent. The addition a small amount accelerated rate increased final crystallinity in blends. Significant enhancement flexibility achieved by incorporation elastomer. When 20 wt% added, impact...

Vitamin D3 (VD3) is an essential nutrient for human health that plays a key role in bone and immune regulation. However, VD3 deficiency has become common issue worldwide due to insufficient daily intake inadequate conversion from sunlight exposure. The relatively poor aqueous solubility of one the major challenges development oral supplements functional foods, since it usually results low absorption. In this study, total 11 potential binary systems were prepared by solvent evaporation....

The anisotropic thermal conductivity of ${\mathrm{Al}}_{65}$${\mathrm{Ni}}_{20}$${\mathrm{Co}}_{15}$ and ${\mathrm{Al}}_{62}$${\mathrm{Si}}_{3}$${\mathrm{Cu}}_{20}$${\mathrm{Co}}_{15}$ single quasicrystals has been measured. While a nearly isotropic phonon contribution was observed, the electronic is almost completely suppressed in quasicrystalline plane contrast to periodic direction where materials behave like usual 3D alloy except for markedly lower contribution.

The anisotropic nature of the transport properties in a two-dimensional quasicrystal has been observed for first time. resistivity depends linearly on temperature from 80 K up to 400 both crystalline and quasicrystalline directions but with opposite coefficients. thermopower is positive direction negative plane. results are discussed connection anisotropy band structure, scattering characteristics, defects formation.

In this paper, the response surface method was used to study technology of dyeing wool fiber with walnut green peel pigment under microwave-assisted method. The optimized extraction process were: ethanol volume fraction 60%, time 1 min, liquid-material ratio 24:1, microwave power 450 W, and mordant fixation 3 270 amount fixing agent 7%, reducing dosage 22 g/L. results showed that use new lanthanum chloride greatly improved efficiency pigments, saved costs, significantly shortened time,...

Measurements made on single ${\mathrm{Al}}_{62}$${\mathrm{Si}}_{3}$${\mathrm{Cu}}_{20}$${\mathrm{Co}}_{15}$ two-dimensional decagonal quasicrystals show that when current flows along the periodic direction, Hall coefficient is positive and temperature independent, while resistivity negative increases with in quasicrystalline plane. This apparently first observation of anisotropic effects quasicrystals.
