In this work, we use electrophysiological and metabolomic tools to determine the role of chitosan as plant defence elicitor in soil for preventing or manage root pests diseases sustainably. Root exudates include a wide variety molecules that plants microbiota communicate rhizosphere. Tomato were treated with chitosan. from tomato analysed at 3, 10, 20 30 days after planting (dap). We found, using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Excitation Emission Matrix (EEM) fluorescence,...

Noncovalent interactions of anions with electron-deficient aromatic rings that have been studied so far involve non-heteroaromatic or nitrogen-based heteroaromatic systems. Here we report the first case an organic oxygenated system, in particular tri-aryl-pyrylium tetrafluoroborate for which noncovalent anion–π pyrylium cation anion experimentally detected and demonstrated by means 19F NMR spectroscopy solution. A series salts were synthesized presence BF3·Et2O, direct reaction 4-substituted...

A synthesis of protected C-2β- and C-2α-fluoro oleandrosyl fluorides is presented; coupling these carbohydrates with avermectin B1a monosaccharide 5-O-t-butyldimethylsilyl derivative, followed by deprotection, furnished the title compounds whose biological activity was evaluated.

A general approach to enantiopure conformationally constrained sugar derived α/β- and α/γ-peptides has been established. Five-membered ring α/β-peptides were synthesized via formyl C-glycofuranosides, easy available from hexose-derived azido-2-equatorial-OH-glycopyranosides by DAST-promoted contraction. By means of a regioselective oxidation with TEMPO at C-6 3-azido glycopyranosides as the key step, two- three-residue having six-membered obtained in good yields under very simple...

Abstract Fluorodehydroxylation of 1,6-anhydro-β-D-gluco- and galacto-pyranose derivatives was investigated on compounds having only one free hydroxy group. The reaction proceeded with complete retention inversion configuration at C-3 C-4 respectively allowed the stereospecificic preparation 1, 6-anhydro-2, 3, 4-trideoxy-2,3,4-trifluoro-β-D-gluco- galactopyranose. Acid catalyzed opening their 6-anhydro bridge gave corresponding 6-di-O-acetyl gluco- galactopyranose derivatives.
