Mammalian carnivores have important ecological roles, influencing both the diversity and dynamics of communities in Neotropical landscapes.Our data paper has a unique set containing total 99,605 records 84 species mammalian carnivores.We believe that this will help development long-lasting conservation strategies Neotropics by providing necessary to support science-based decisions.
ABSTRACT Understanding how landscape structure influences predator–prey dynamics is critical for conservation. This study analyzed jaguar‐peccary interactions, revealing uncommon close distances and prevalent 3–5 km ranges, especially away from grasslands. Low peccary densities increased interactions. Findings inform conservation strategies, highlighting prey density roles in maintaining Pantanal's balance.
