Abstract Mammalian carnivores are considered a key group in maintaining ecological health and can indicate potential integrity landscapes where they occur. Carnivores also hold high conservation value their habitat requirements guide management plans. The order Carnivora has 84 species from 8 families the Neotropical region: Canidae; Felidae; Mephitidae; Mustelidae; Otariidae; Phocidae; Procyonidae; Ursidae. Herein, we include published unpublished data on native terrestrial (Canidae;...

Emas National Park is a very importam Conservation Unit in the Cerrado Biome. Nevertheless fauna of this region still poorly known. In study, revised list mammal with comments about composition and number species surveyed presented. Eighty six mammals were recorded neighboring area, including several rare threatened species, like bush dog (Speothos venaticus (Lund, 1842)), Marsh deer (Blastocerus dichotomus (Illiger, 1815)) others. The giant rat (Kunsia tomentosus (Lichtenstein, 1830)) was...

Fruit phenology observations and consumption of Dimorphandra mollis (Leguminosae) were analyzed during seven months in an area cerrado stricto sensu. We analysed 81 fecal samples collected at six different places lowland tapirs (Tapirus terrestris) central Brazilian cerrado. In addition, from the feces five Brasília Zoo to which fruit had been offered, seeds used germination tests. The results suggest that tapir is important consumer a potential seed disperser D. mollis. field, however, was...

Several phytogeographic regions (Cerrado, Pantanal, Atlantic Forest, Gran Chaco, and Chiquitano Dry Forests) converge in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, influence regional biodiversity. Despite a list birds Sul being published by Nunes et al. (2017), it is necessary to update critically review avifauna records. In this study, we gathered results several records obtained from species lists online data platforms 336 sites over last decades grouped them into Main (Primary Secondary)...
