Ion binding often mediates electron transfer in biological systems as a cofactor strategy, either promoter or an inhibitor. However, it has rarely, if ever, been exploited for that purpose synthetic host-guest assemblies. Polymer residue-free graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) of 200 nm width at 1 μm pitch were periodically generated in an area cm2 via laser interference lithography using a chromium interlayer prior to photoresist coating. High-quality GNRs evidenced by atomic force microscopy, micro-Raman spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements. Palladium nanoparticles then deposited on the as catalysts for sensing hydrogen gases, GNR array was utilized electrically conductive path with less...

In this study, blue-emitting CH3NH3PbBr3 NCs were achieved by changing the precipitation solvent used in LARP from a non-polar to polar solvent. As dipole moment of (Sol. B) with oxygen functional groups increased, PL spectrum was blue-shifted and crystal size decreased. The high Sol. B increased interaction between ligands B, promoting growth bulk particles rather than NCs. This decreased monomer concentration reaction vessel, thereby limiting study demonstrates that can be controlling...

Substantial effort has been devoted to the synthesis of molecular receptors that can function as chemosensors for nitroaromatic explosives. In spite several advantages, these suffer from low sensitivity and difficulties translating response into gas phase. We have combined tetrathiafulvalene-functionalized calix[4]pyrrole, a colorimetric receptor, with polyimide microcantilever, includes mechanical stress sensing element. The resulting system is capable detecting 10 ppb trinitrobenzene...
