본 연구는 천연한방 식물 추출물의 치아우식 예방제제로서 가능성을 평가하고자 구강 양치용액과 함께 S. mutans에 대한 항균활성을 측정하고, 정상인 치은섬유모세포에 독성 유무를 평가하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 용매별 최소성장억제농도는 증류수보다 에탄올 추출물에서 우수한 성장억제 효과를 보였다. 최소성장억제농도를 비교한 결과, 추출물은 보골지가, 구강양치액은 헥사메딘이 가장 낮은 농도에서 최소살균농도를 헥사메딘과 가그린이 사멸효과를 나타냈다. 정상인의 추출물을 최소성장억제농인 10, 39, $78{\mu}g/ml$ 로 처리하여 측정한 결과 세포독성이 없었다. 그러나 최소살균농도 값을 토대로 각 추출물별 농도를 달리하여 처리한 보골지를 제외하고는 다른 농도가 높아짐에 따라 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 종합하면, 4종의 합성 화학물질인 구강양치액과 비교 시 유사한 항균효과가 있었다. 따라서 적정 첨가함으로써 대체 예방제제로 실용화할 수 있을 생각된다. 【This study...

본 연구는 시판중인 국내외 제조 플레인 탄산수 5종을 선정하여 우치 법랑질 침식 및 그에 따른 세균 침착 정도를 확인하였다. 탄산수에 시편을 침지 후 용출된 칼슘 농도를 측정하고, SEM을 이용하여 표면의 침식을 관찰하였다. 이 S. mutans 균과 sorbinus 균이 접종된 배지에 함께 배양하여 침식된 시편의 확인하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 실험에 사용된 5종은 수소이온농도가 pH 5.5보다 낮았고, 치아의 칼슘의 용출이 확인되었다. 이용한 치면 분석 결과, 용출은 의한 침식이 원인임을 확인하였고, 두 방법을 통해 인공 탄산수와 광천수간의 뚜렷한 활성 차이는 관찰되지 않았다. 또한 의해 유발된 치아 침식으로 침착이 용이해지는 것으로 이런 결과들로부터 음용 시 유발될 수 있으며 구강 내 가중될 있으므로, 가능성에 대한 소비자의 인식이 필요하며, 탄산수를 물 대체음료 정도로 생각하기보다는 무가당 콜라와 탄산음료에 준하는 범주로 포괄하여 음용하는 것이 바람직하다고...
