However, efficiency accuracy manual inspection are being challenged by rapid growth power grid. The situation is improving advanced image...
In this article, a hypersensitive multispectral partial discharge (PD) optical sensor array was developed, by which the pulses in seven independent bands can be acquired simultaneously. By using array, for three typical PDs gas insulated system were obtained experimentally and analyzed with phase-based (phase-resolved) nonphase-based (spectral-ratio-based) characteristics, respectively. It indicates that characteristics produced specific defect provide unique spectral signatures mode as well...
Our experiments on a transformer oil-based nanofluid (NF) with ZnO nanoparticles reveal higher relative permittivity than that of pure oil. Meanwhile, the NF presents linear increase nanoparticle volumetric concentration and decrease ambient temperature. A model based polarization is proposed to investigate mechanisms permittivity. Analysis presented suggests value dominantly determined by oil, while NFs compared oil mainly caused inner polarization.
In this paper, to effectively distinguish between the aging and moisture of oil-immersed paper (OIP), enhance accuracy nondestructive diagnosis insulating state for oil-paper insulation, we perform an in-depth study frequencydomain dielectric response theory. First, present a theoretical explanation frequency-domain spectroscopy (FDS) based on investigations into mechanism characteristics conductivity loss polarization loss. Secondly, explore classical by performing systematic analysis...
Insulation condition monitoring is essential for the safety of our distribution power grid. First all, general framework designed with considerations extendibility accessibility. Next, it goes into...
As partial discharge (PD) monitoring has become a significant means of insulation fault diagnosis, built-in UHF sensors is increasingly adopted in GIS. In this letter, we report hypersensitive triple-band optical PD sensor which combined to with an existing flange assembled on By experiments performed 110 kV GIS chamber, it demonstrates that the spectral information obtained by novel sensor, severity evaluation and multi-source clustering can be realized without any signal strength...
Sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆) gas-insulated electrical equipment is widely used in high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (EHV) power systems. Partial discharge (PD) local heating can occur the because of insulation faults, which results SF₆ decomposition ultimately generates several types products. These products be qualitatively quantitatively detected with relevant detection methods, such contributes to diagnosing internal faults evaluating security risks equipment. At present, multiple...
This paper aims to promote optical partial discharge (PD) detection from laboratory scale practical application for sulfur hexafluoride (SF 6 )-insulated power equipment. First, a micro silicon photomultiplier (SiPM)-based PD sensor is evaluated detecting PDs in SF gas and proven have the equivalent properties with pulse current acquisition vacuum tube terms of signal-to-noise ratio,...
Optical detection is reliable in intrinsically characterizing partial discharges (PDs). Because of the great volume and high-level power supply optical devices that can satisfy requirements photosensitivity, PD merely be used laboratory studies. To promote practical application approach an actual apparatus, a silicon photomultiplier (SiPM)-based sensor introduced this paper, its basic properties, which include sensitivity, pulse resolution, correlation with severity, electromagnetic (EM)...
The oil-based nanofluids with greater dielectric strength have attracted much attention as a crucial insulating materials in high-voltage oil-immersed power equipment. In fact, the different microstructures of transformer (TNFs) would result properties. this work, broadband spectroscopy measurement was used to establish linkage between electric double layer (EDL) and response properties TNFs which performed at 298K temperature frequency range from 10-2Hz∼106Hz. modified Havriliak-Negami (HN)...
Partial discharge (PD) detection is essential to the operation of high-voltage systems. In this context, we investigate basic characteristics light emission during PDs in SF6 gas from perspective insulation diagnosis. A synchronous system constructed using three optical photoelectric instruments with separate wavelength responses ultraviolet (UV, 189–352 nm), visible (VIS, 381–675 and near-infrared (NIR, 737–920 nm) spectral ranges a wide-band PD current pulse detector response 1 pC. The...
This paper proposes a joint visualization detection method to diagnose outdoor insulation status of high-voltage (HV) equipment in substations, which applies image matching and fusion techniques accurately combine the results ultrasonic, ultraviolet, infrared an image. can then be used quickly clearly locate region corona discharge overheating substation HV equipment. First, ultrasonic localization is proposed, based on designed double-helix array multisignal classification algorithm....
Oil leakage will cause abnormal temperature rise and discharge of oil-filled power equipment, which seriously threatens insulation reliability. In this paper, based on the synchronous fluorescence spectra (SFS) excitation emission matrix (EEM) mineral vegetable oils, ultraviolet-induced hyperspectral imaging (UV-induced HSI) measurement system is developed. Then, fluorescence-reflectance oil traces non-oil areas are determined via proposed system. Next, influence factors intensity, including...
Data-driven approaches have been widely used in the field of traction system and equipment fault diagnosis. However, limited training samples can cause data-driven models to face dilemma overfitting. In order supplement sufficient data small-sample case, this paper proposes a generative model based on Multivariate Normal (MVN) distribution Mahalanobis Distance (MD). The basic hypothesis method is that diagnostic feature vectors representing same state are subject an identical MVN...
