Abstract Fe-based metallic glasses (MGs) have been extensively investigated due to their unique properties, especially the outstanding soft-magnetic properties. However, conventional design of MGs is heavily relied on “trial and error” experiments, thus difficult balance saturation flux density ( B s ) thermal stability strong interplay between glass formation magnetic interaction. Herein, we report an eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) machine-learning (ML) model for developing advanced...
A modified criterion, β', defined as Tg/Tx–Tg/(Tl·η) (Tg, Tx, Tl) and η denote the glass transition temperature, onset of crystallization liquidus temperature constant coefficient, respectively), has been proposed for assessing glass-forming ability (GFA) bulk metallic glasses (BMGs). survey readily available experimental data associated with thermal analysis various BMG alloys demonstrates that new β' criterion exhibits much better correlation GFA than other currently used criteria. But, it...
Abstract Background In patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CIAKI) is a frequent complication, especially in diabetics, and connected with severe mortality morbidity the short long term. Therefore, we aimed to develop CIAKI predictive model for diabetic patients. Methods 3514 diabetes from four hospitals were separated into three cohorts: training, internal validation, external validation. We developed six machine learning (ML)...
Although amorphous alloy ribbons have lower core loss, serious loss deterioration occurs in cores constructed from ribbon for distribution transformer. In the present study, mechanism and influencing factors of transformers were investigated. The influence distributed gaps on transformer was calculated by simulation software validated experiments. boron fluctuation affects annealing temperature cores. A superior technique with parameters developed, appreciable decrease obtained.
Soft magnetic properties of Fe-based metallic glasses (MGs) are dependent on their nanocrystallization behavior, particularly the precipitation α-Fe embedded in amorphous matrix. In this study, effects metalloid elements C, B, Si, and P thermal stability, soft typical alloys, i.e., Fe-Cu-(CBSiP) glassy were investigated systematically. It is found that addition can effectively retard process during reheating MGs due to long-range diffusion metalloids; however, individual compositional...
The stress-impedance (SI) profiles were measured in Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 ribbons annealed by Joule heating the presence of longitudinal applied tensile stress 100 MPa and maximum SI ratio 350% is observed. It was found that large effect result induced transverse magnetic anisotropy. We present a model explains variations anisotropy on effect. based skin magnetization rotation due to ac driving current.
A size effect of more scattered strength with decreasing diameter is revealed by tension experiments on melt-spinning fabricated Pd77.5Cu6Si16.5 metallic glass microwires, and explained from a perspective structural inhomogeneity higher structure sensitivity glasses under condition in large aspect ratio. Such result differs the understanding “the smaller stronger” compression behaviors glasses, but indicates that shear bands actually could nucleate wide stress range. This finding provide...
